Building Baby
SO ladies and gentlemen I've barely worked out a lick this whole pregnancy. Here is the scoop. I've already had 3 C-sections, the last one was less than two years ago and I've been having trouble with my scar across the uterus. Currently the big scare is that the placenta is trying to grow into the scar itself internally which will mean I may have to have a specialized surgery to prevent maternal death. I went from having no restrictions on how much I could lift to "really watch yourself, you can lift your toddler and nothing heavier". My focus has went 100% to making sure the baby I'm carrying gets all the nutrients it needs, muscle maintenance/building will have to resume after baby is born. Yup I'm gaining quite a bit of weight BUT in previous pregnancies the LEAST amount of weight I've gained is 40lbs and the most is 60lbs and within 6-9 months after delivery (including downtime for surgery recovery) I've always been back at fighting weight. I have no worries, I will be back to my old self in time, for now I'm just building baby.
