Won the War

We just finished up a few days of practicing for an operational readiness inspection, it’s where they test us and see if we are ready and now how to "Fly Fight and Win".  You know playing war.  With most inspection it really doesn’t have anything to do with fighting a real war, just some made up one that no one will ever fight.  Anyways, we always do some in house exercises like counter sniper, IEDs’, patrols to work in the real type of things that we do so we can make sure we stay sharp and ready for the real stuff.

All in all it went well, the weather was great for July, only in the 70’s which made wearing the chemical gear and gas masks, it could have been a lot worse.  We made it thru the crap the whole base wanted us to do, Alarm Conditions and MOPP levels.  Put the gas mask on, take it off, put it on, take it off.

We kicked some ass on the enemy, and won sent them running and crying for their mommies or whoever they go cry to.  Gave some their wish and let them be martyrs……the down side is no time for the workouts or cardio, but probably managed something running around all the time.  Does anyone know how many calories are in an MRE?

I don’t know but that sounds like in an incredible workout right there with the practice drill. What’s an MRE?
