MAXED OUT 200 bad form but first time max deadlifting felt great cant wait to lift tomorrow.

better clean up the form then or you wont be deadlifting for too long. That is probably the most important exercise to have perfect form on…unless you want to herniate a spinal disc.

yeah I read that and thought I’d let you know what cptdgraham just told you. form is much more important that weight when you’re starting out on the deadlift. Now that you’ve done your max, just rep out with 65-75% of your max while you perfect your form.

Dont risk a back injury for quanity. Focus on quality and you’ll enjoy this sport for a long time.

thanks for the tips guys! i wont be maxing out any time soon with a deadlift anymore. tomorrow ill max out on the bench, but thats way safer than a deadlift. might do a 5RM for squatting, not a 1RM because i dont wanna die , lol
