Wow I got slapped down before I even started, I have been going through some shit this last two weeks me and my wife of 7 years have seperated, we have been going to counseling, but still apart, I have not done anything at the gym lately. but dammit I am going today for sure.

I am proud to say that I may not be in the best shape of my life. But I will do everything I can to make sure that my 2 beautiful little girls know what nutrition is about, as I got older and started to study nutrition, I realized that niether of my parents ever taught me anything about proper eating habits, if anything they sent me entirely the wrong direction. I study nutrition for my children so they they can have a better healthier start. I remember getting home from school and eating 2 or 3 twinkies before dinner, always going back for seconds, and sleeping all weekend.

Alright Day 3 feeling way better, super energetic. Workout yesterday was awesome.
Back and Biceps:
Lat Pulldowns- 150×12, 150×12, 140×12
Curl Machine- 100×12, 100×10, 90×12, 85×8, 80×6, 70×5
Seated Row- 105×12, 120×12, 120×10
Curl bar- 100×6, 85×10, 85×8
5 minutes of sprinting. Ran out of time. worked late and gym was closing I had to fit it in in 35 min. but I still made it. 15 sets not to bad for a start. I will get back. when I stopped 4 months ago My pulldowns were at 240 for 10 reps, the long break has definately affected my strength, but ill get it back.

I was looking for something to add a little flavor to my chicken and rice. Is soy sauce ok, it looks like it is high in sodium, about 980mg per tablespoon. only 10 calories per tablespoon, how will that sodium effect my diet?

Wow having a tough day, doing good on the diet but, so used to eating junk, and my 2-3 rockstars a day habit. Im hanging in there but could use some inspiration. My wife already bailed on me by noon today. She says she feels fine eating crappy, and that she is happier. Well I know one thing I am not happier, I can feel myself starting to feel better already. Its not like I havent done this before. I have lost 75 lbs twice already and gained right back, but I did it with starvation, for some reason against knowing better, all that i would end up with is a 200 lb frame with zero muscle or strength, I will not do it that way again.

I lost 8 pounds yesterday on morning 2 I have lost 8 pounds is that normal after eating unhealthy for so long? It will stabilize out wont it, I dont want to lose any muscle. Or at least as little as possible. I did 30 min of cardio last night and 30 min of weight lifting.

It all starts today, Chicken and Brown Rice, nothing but water. I feel like my whole life has lead me to this point. All my past training, all of my studying, and all of my mistakes… I just spent the last year and a half in a fog, of pain killers, and antidepressants. But NO more. My new drug is the weights. My new high is a just completed workout. And I am so ready I can taste it.

I AM DOING 2,460 CALORIES A DAY 240 GRAMS PROTIEN, 225 GRAMS OF CARBS,
SUPER CLEAN, CHICKEN BREAST AND BROWN RICE, NO SUGAR, NO DAIRY. WATER ONLY.
A CHEAT MEAL ON SUNDAY. STILL NO SUGAR AND NO DAIRY.
MY CURRENT WEIGHT WAS 273 THIS MORNING. I PLAN ON HITTING 205 BY SEPT. 12 2007, MY 26TH B-DAY.
