Who’s says strength training combined with proper nutrition and cardio doesn’t make a difference.. Last thurs on a whim , I went into our school nurses office and had her take my BP.. When she finished and said my pressure was 170/66,I said" are you sure"? She said, "yes". Well I’ve had this flu bug over last 8 days  so I went to the doctor Jan 18th.. During my visit I explained to him in great detail how I had been eating clean and what that entailed, strength training and recently stepped up my cardio.. I asked him to do a lab workup on me.. Well tonite Jan21rst, my wife answered the phone and said, the doctor wants you to call him.. Needless to say , my heart started racing.. After I composed myself and called, his first words blew me away.."Mitch , your cholesterol is the best I have ever seen it.. I had dropped from a high of 284 11/06 to a normal range <200 of 180… I finally made the grade on lowering my cholesterol.. All my other functions were normal also..

I am soooo jazzed because now my focus is going to be on reducing my bodyfat currently hovering between 34.7 and 35.4.. And reducing my bodyweight currently hovering between 239 and 241…So wish me luck..

Working tri’s/bi’s today..  Just finished knocking out a mile on Nordic Track… Received a compliment from my wife last nite.. Said my stomach is definitely going down.. But when I did the numbers, my weight and BF were up(from 239 to 240, bf from 34.7 to 37.0) from Nov 18th measurements.. So I surmized that it must be the Creatine.. My protein powder has 3 grams sugar per scoop and my creatine 32 grams sugar per scoop, so I was basically taking in 8-10 xtra teaspoons of sugar per day. Now I know the muscles need sugar but I’m currently leptin resistant, so any additional sugar is not getting into my cells.. So. I am going to continue taking creatine because it really helps me in workouts and reduce dosage to 1/2 scoop and re-eval end of Jan..

Tues. nite I didn’t make it to the gym until 10.30 pm, and the gym closes at midnight. I got chest and back exercises done, but ran out of time for shoulders.. . But as they say,  when one door closes, another door opens . It was then I had an epiphany. ” Hey Mitch, you have a complimentary set of DB’s at home, why not do your shoulder routine at home, or any routines you can do at home and save yourself some time for other things like cardio and the jacuzzi . So there you have it . My first recorded fitness Tweaker,henceforth known as Tweaker fitness tips.. Working out defintiely clears your mind to let you see clearly the obvious..

As hard as it is..

Today is a rest day for me.. It’s so hard to take a day off.. Your body craves more work outs. This week I learned how to pace myself with cardio..  I do H.I.T. cardio on alternate day and I have added 12 min. a day x6 days lite cardio on my Nordic Track cross country skier at my training heart rate… So I should start seeing the results of my labor soon.. Wish me luck..

When I first started this site I was all man boobs.. Well my bra size is going down thanks to all of you keeping me motivated.. My anniversary date on this site is Jul 08 .. I have six months to whip it good… Headed to gym to do H.I.T. cardio today…

  I woke up bursting with energy eventhough I partied till 3 am.. Went to L.a. Fitness and worked Legs, biceps, triceps, butt and abs… Then jumped in the jacuzzi and all was well…
