Cardio Cardio Cardio

All my bad numbers (High Triclycerides, pre-hypertension, high bmi, high resting heart rate, belly fat) are due to lack of aggressiveness on cardio..

So my goal in coming weeks is to increase, adjust, tweak, do WIT( whatever it takes)  to reduce body weight and body fat in hte cardio dept.

6.15 a.m. I was up doing Nordic Track for 20 min.. Enjoyed it.. Going to gym tonite.. anyone wanna join me??

Didn’t procrastinate

 1 hour before getting off from work, did  a scoop of creatine and went to the gym after work.. Worked Bi’s with DB curl, preacher curl and hammer curl.. Loved it.. Worked tri’s with kickbacks and pulldowns.. And for some dumb reason wanted to work back and Imean I worked it from every angles.. I was suppose to be working shoulders but got side tracked.. Oh well, at least I did it..

Finally Figured it out…

Some of you have been posting pics in your blog and dumbo me was trying to figure out how to.. Well ,lo and behold,eureka, I think I got it..  I went back through my archives and recovered some pics of me from 01 forward. And when I saw them I see how I let myself go into the largesse wilderness.. So, over the coming weeks I am starting the 8 weeks out journey. Wish me luck…

Nov 25, 2007 Sun.

 

These last few weeks have been invigorating and enlightening.. I have learned enough from the people on this site to set my first Goals.. First I want to acknowledge my achievements. I have reduced my neck size from 19 inches to 17 inches and my waist from 44 down to 40.. Weight down from 244 to 239, yahooo!!!

Now for my goals over the next 8 weeks.

 

- Continue to reduce my resting HR(heart rate)

 

- Increase my Cardio from 3x weekly to 5x weekly, I have a lot of fat to lose. I really want to see

a change in the scale over the next 8 weeks.

 

- Post weekly pics on progress. The true achievers on this site constantly post pics to help them self eval their progress.

 

- Decrease body fat from 34.5 to at least 30. in 8 week period.. I recently learned how to compute my lean body mass. I read several peoples blogs who talked about increasing lean body mass. Now I know and understand what it entails.

Current Body Fat - 34.7 x Weight 239 = 82.9 lbs of Bodyfat

Lean Body Mass 156 lbs, the rest is fat… Solution , turn up that Cardio..

 

From reading I learned that most of you guys refer to competiton in terms of 8 weeks out ,for example..

 

I like this and now I am gonna modify it for me to say Today, I am 8 weeks out from my current goals, critique me, educate me, encourage me help me reach my fitness goals.

We all want that look, self included.. So I am doing whatever it takes to get there.. Did H.I.T. (High Intensity Cardio) today and core work.. It was grueling , but fun.. This week I have been focusing on form and clean eating.. Friends and family say I am starting to look different. I don’t see that much of a change on the scale, but pants are definitely starting to feel different.. Tomm. at last, a day of rest.. I’m not doing n-e thing fitness related.. I’ve worked all muscle groups and took my heart to the edge..

I’m Sooo Excited- Pointer Sisters…

I’m sooo excited because my wife took a measurement today and my neck size has decreased from 19 to 17 inches.. The Oak Tree neck is coming down..  Also , today I fought back the procrastination devils and went to the gym and had a helluva chest/ back workout. For cardio I did seated bike , but when it came time for the Procor elliptial I only lasted 2 minutes.. How in the Hell do people do 40 minutes on that torture machine ? And last but not least, I have a wonderful fitness friend in my life who has consistently checked on me to make sure I’m not half- steppin.. Thanks my dear friend..

FINALLY BROKE INTO THE 230′S

Since I last posted I have been educating myself on nutrition. I bought a book called,"The Fat Resistance Diet". The good news is it’s not a diet and I have been losing weight without the starvation feeling. For awhile ,I stopped getting compliments, but now at work and even at home I am getting compliments.. When your wife says, " I can really see a difference" then you’re on the right path.. My wieght has fallen to 239 and I feel great.. For a week or two I was hell stuck on 242. Additionally , I have really been talking to you guys and getting some awesome info.. I’ll talk about that more in my next blog..

When my wifey gets home from church today I will take some pics.. I have decided to picture my way thru this journey.. I wanna see what others are seeing and it will help me tweak where I need to..
