Cardio on 'Off' Days
yesterday i decided to add some cardio on off days by doing a bit of walking/jogging on a local mountain trail frequented by many 'part-timers' looking to add some activity to their lives. i now understand why there are different body types for different styles of cardiovascular exercise and long-distance running is definitely not for me! my HIIT training on treadmill at the gym is a challenge but trying to go from one to the other is a stretch and i struggled to keep up with my partner. hit has been effective for me so i don't want to lose muscle mass with a drastic change so i'll just do a brisk walk for an hour on 'rest' days and HIIT when i'm on.
tomorrow is another progress photo update and of course, i hate it but...gotta make it happen. today was leg day and those are the most exhausting, i drank a half a gallon of water (with xtend) before the workout was done. its like torture pushing myself the way that i am but if i'm going to see it, i have to feel it when i'm in the gym. back on shoulders tomorrow & will throw in a bit of calf work as i'm definitely weak in that area.
Defintely understand I'm a fan of tae bo & walking my self.running would waste me away 7 progress would be slow. I'm a natural ecto meso but after 28 I can be a little endo.Soon as I get serious about cardio & start running i'm ecto. Light cardio for the win =D
