Did chest today, just found out that if I start my workout with incline BB then flat BB, I could lift more on incline and the same for flat.
Usually if I do flat then incline, when I’m doing incline I can only lift light due to the exhaustion from the flat bench press.
Doing incline first then flat totally exhausts the chest muscles and by the time I did the cable cross, close grip flat BB and flyes, I could only do 8 reps of push ups at the end.
Oh, and happy new year!

I finally found out that girls do love big muscles as much as guys love huge tits and tight bums. Heck I finally discovered a girl who watches Manhunt, which is some male model thingy I think because the Manhunt I know is a violent PS2 console game which I can never finish playing. And she loves one of the guys there haha. It’s must be a true fact otherwise the human race might go extinct! My mom definitely didn’t marry my dad because he’s ugly.
From what I have found, they love big, but not too big. Big enough to make them feel warm and cozy in those thick actin and myosin fibers, but not too big till they get crushed in those boulder-like biceps. Too much of a good thing is bad. If a girl is too skinny I would label her as aneroxic and it’s a total turn off.
I finally broke the "normal" BMI barrier. I’m now considered overweight..by 1 kg to be precise. For my height, the ideal weight is between 68 to 74kg. I’m officially 75kg. Woohoo, I think it’s a part of the process of bulking up I guess. I need a caliper to know my body fat level. Andrew told me to go to Fitness First to get it done with a Trial Membership, but I would like to own a caliper for myself. I think they sell them in pharmacies back at home.
I never believe that I am big because I’m always looking at my body everyday and I still think I’m tiny. Andrew who sat next to me in the restaurant said he felt small sitting next to me. So I shifted my seat to face a huge mirror in the restaurant with Anas beside me and I looked like I got flattened by a huge rolling pin over my face. I finally realised I’m kinda big…I’m bigger than my classmates alright but the locals in the gym from MIT are giants and I want to be one of them!
Yeah I’ll look shorter if I’ll bulk up bla bla bla but some guys in the gym are shorter than me and they are so much stronger than me and their arms are as big as an elephantiasis leg and they don’t look short at all, to me they have proportionate body. In fact I grew a few cm taller (according to my passport height record) while lifting. I think it was the work of the growth hormone that my pituitary gland has been secreting from all those workout stress.
My eggs are done boiling. Time for a feast!

After a week’s rest, my wrist doesn’t hurt that much anymore and I finally can lift weights. WOOHOO!!! However, my bench stats dropped a bit. Used to bench 60kg, 4sets x 6 reps. Now I’m down to 50kg so I have to increase my sets to 5 sets x 8reps to make up the loss.
Guess who I met in the gym? Two anatomy lecturers from my college! HAHAHAHA! Kinda shocked to see them here, and they were shocked to see me too, I guess because I talked to one of them in the office just yesterday. They asked me how much I’m paying and how often I come here. One of them also asked me if I’m losing weight or gaining weight. I replied I’m here to gain SERIOUS weight. Also, my competitive gym mate, he’s having his University exams tomorrow, Pharmacology is the first subject in fact, and he was there working out his shoulders. I was like "WTF you have unis tomorrow and you’re here sweating your ass off?" he replied coolly "I studied this morning and afternoon," Like me, he doesn’t like to talk about studies in the gym, so I changed the topic and talked about my sucky thin flabby lats. So he told me about how long it took him to get his wings, he said it took him 6 months PLUS the eggs he has been eating.
Keeping the eggs in my mind, I went to the grocery store by the main road to buy my eggs. To my horror, not only the shop is closed, but they also tore down the whole row of shops!!! Nothing is left there at that lane!!! So I thought about the milk parlour near by and remembered that the shop is also closed due to road repairs. AHH!!! No more eggs for me!!! I think I should start a chicken farm in my apartment and educate my chickens in the coop to lay lots of eggs for me.

I’ve not been doing squats for like almost a month now, mainly because I’ve returned to campus a month ago and the gym at my campus area has a lousy smith machine. So today I decided to squat again because it’s the exercise that REALLY made me gain lots of mass in the shortest time and I’ve not been seeing obvious results when I’m not squating for the past month. So I did a warm up set of 10 reps with 20kg on the barbell, then increase the weights to 30kg, 4 sets x 10 reps. While performing the squats my legs were shaking like an old lady. So after those 4 sets, I started working on my arms (biceps and triceps), but my heart was beating so fast and I felt extremely tired. While doing barbell curls I couldn’t stand properlly and I kept on falling over by the weights on the barbell. And so I took a break for half an hour for my heart beat to slow down a bit and drank lots of water. By the time half an hour passed, my T shirt was completely drenched in sweat. Maybe it’s because I never really do any cardio exercises… However I managed to complete my arm workouts, what should have been a 1 hour workout became a 2 hour workout…that sucks.

Thanks guys! I don’t know how to express my feelings…I feel weird and proud at the same time though. I never expect my profile to appear in that box but I love the attention haha. Of course I am happy about my 1 year skinny to "relatively big" transformation…but among the 6 profile pictures in the Top Profiles box, I am the weakest. :S

Do you guys think that I should continue bulking and ignore my six pack for the time being or start losing some body fat? I really can feel my six pack underneath my skin but it’s covered by a layer of fat and it only show itself when I’m under some light at the correct angle and flexed.
I seldom jog btw…I only walk to the gym, the journey takes me 20 minutes from my apartment to the gym.
I see others who are about my weight and height but look really defined/ripped…
Also I just bought a skipping rope.
Cheers!

It’s called Priority Fitness and it’s located within my area, just opposite to the university. I paid RM70 (21.3541 USD) for 1 month. So this afternoon I went to register and it’s a huge gym, well ventilated, lots of brand new equipment, they even have a specialized room for yoga, belly dancing, aikido etc. The only downside is that there’s no spotters/traniers… So anyways, it’s Thursday and it’s a Chest day so I warm up by jogging on the threadmill for 1km and some stretching. I did bench presses and it’s kind of confusing coz everything is in pounds and in the gym I used to workout at was in kg. So I had to grab my phone and use the converter in it to convert the amount of weight from imperial into metric. After loading the shiny bar with hexagonal weights, I started bench pressing for 4 sets of 6…this time I make sure I’m using the correct form of bench pressing coz my trainer from another gym told me that the bar must be at the level of the nipple and not above the nipple coz otherwise it’s act on the shoulders and not on the chest. However on the last set, since there’s no spotters in the gym, I couldn’t lift the barbell up and on end of the bar has landed on the rack but the other end hasn’t and no one was there to help me so I let the weights on that side of the bar to slide down and they landed on the floor with a loud "thoom", the owner of the gym came rushing and ask me what’s wrong. Then I did dumbell presses and flyes. At that time it’s already 4pm and the clinic closes at 5pm and I have a physio theraphy appointed to catch. So I left the gym and headed for the clinic. Then tonight I went to the gym again and started working on my shoulders. In the afternoon the people who were in the gym were housewives and gym newbies so I look bigger than them, but at night there were more people and most of them were huge dudes with ****ing huge machine guns and chests, I was dwarfed by them, seriosuly my mood went all the way down because I was discouraged, jealousy kills. Didn’t work much on my shoulders anyways with all the huge guys around me and I can imagine them saying "Look at that midget, he’s never going to be as big as us *evil laughter*". So I don’t plan on going to the gym at night and I really really hope I can get a spotter so help me push those last few reps so I can feel the intense burn.

I’m actually home a few days ago but I just got back my internet connection.
I’m working out at usual, and discovered that my body weight has gone up to 70kgs, that means I’ve gained 11kgs since March 10 2006, exactly a year ago!
Now I’m kinda in a dilemma on which gym I should go:
Gym A: My dad’s collegue’s daugther works there as a trainer but she won’t be around from 15 to 22 March. Since I’ll be leaving for university on 31st March, so my daily guest fee is RM25 (5USD). The gym is kinda far away from my house.
Gym B: This gym is very new and it’s ver y near from my house, monthly fee is RM70 (23USD), doesn’t have any trainers there but the manager told me that the staff can be our spotters.
Will post progress pics soon, but one thing about me returning home after 6 months in university is that people are telling me that I’ve grown a lot bigger.

Well, today is the second workout day and I’m leaving campus for my vacation on Thursday, so I have one day left so work out my body.
I did shoulders and biceps today. My left wrist still hurts but I somehow managed to figure out a way to do those front dumbell raises without straining my wrists.
I think I need an iPod…I can’t stand the metal music my gym plays anymore, the music killed my enthusiasm to workout.

My exams just ended today and so I moved to my new apartment right after that…it was hot so I took off my T shirt and to my horror, while walking pass my closet’s mirror, I noticed that my body looks smaller now!
I blame the exams…it’s the exams that caused me to shrink and had no time to workout…
From tomorrow onwards I’m going to hit the gym really hard!!!
HOO-AH!

I’ve become so weak for not working out for 2-3 weeks!
I can’t even bench 30kg for more than 6 reps.
What makes it worse is everyone in the gym watching me struggling to lift 30kg off my chest.
My left wrist isn’t making things any easier for me either…it still hurts from that accident. Now I can see some red marks on my styloid prominence of my left elbow…I think I just ruptured a few blood capillaries…
My stamina has went down too…I feel extremely tired after doing 3 sets of shrugs and 3 sets of flat benches.
I think I have to keep on training to gain my strength back…I have only 2 weeks before I go back home for my vacation.
