Keepin it Real

Haven’t really written here lately. Dont know what to say exactly.  Right now im currently working out on my own plan and with my own diet plan. I find it much more motivational to have a trainer though. I think im actually up 1or 2 % of body fat since not working with a trainer which is 6 weeks ago. Although I haven’t lost fat lately i’ve been adding muscle to my arms. Can ya tell? I’m up 4 pounds since working out on my own which is a big bummer! But I know if my diet is on track that little bit of fat will melt away fairly quickly. Lately things have been tough for me because my hormones are way out of wack! The brand of birth control I was once on went generic in Aug and made me have major munchies. Hence the weight increase. So I said forget that and now were using other methods till I can get a doctors approval for getting back on my original BC. Did anyone know that a pharmacy does not have to tell it’s customers that there switching their med’s to generics? By the time I opened up the my BC at home it was too late because I needed it that night! I didn’t even realize I would go through thinning of hair, dizziness, weight gain, and constant hunger. None of this has ever happened to me with my original BC called Jasmine.

So as for now im hitting all my muscles twice a week on a upper/lower light and upper/lower heavy split four times a week. Light days are 3×15 and heavy is 4×6-10. Lately i’ve noticed that ive added muscle to my abdominal and oblique area. My husbands commented on it too. I’ve also been asking around the gym about what people do as far as diet goes. The people who look ripped really hit there diet and workouts hardcore. It’s such a constant battle to keep mentally pushing your self to put in the "right" things into our bodies and avoid the bad crap. Right now it’s all about cutting a good 5-8 pounds off my frame so im adding in some carb cycling again to see what happens. Double cardio just doesn’t fit with my busy schedule now that im in 5 classes. I’s going to cut my calories to 1400-1500 and see what happens.
