Okay, so I’m 18 days out..and counting.. I’ve cut calories to no more than 950 a day, with 1 hr of lifting and 2 hrs of cardio..surely I can get the last 8 lbs off.. I’m in freak mode right now, and not feeling like I’m going to be tight enough to be on stage.. REally just trying to stay positive and focused and wrap my mind around this contest..somedays this is soo hard..
I’ve let up on the chicken,,and I’m eating lots of white fish..and adding a shake a day. At this point I’m still eating and apple and some greek yogurt..that will probably change next week.
practicing posing more as well..its coming along fairly well. I will meet with my friend (who is a trainer, but just helping here and there) on Sunday, and have him take a look at the diet/workout. Hopefully I’m on track..Looking for a new fat burner, right now, I’m drinking redline..but next week that will change up too.

Okay so today was the 5th day of lifting, and so I will take tommorow off (sat.) I’m almost9 weeks out from contest and quite frankly I’m flipping out today..I’m not feeling like I’m making gains,,and I don’t think my ass is ever going to tighten nor will I find that "oh so hot" tie-in back there..
I’m eating and drinking well.. Monday nite I did have about of cup of sherbert in a cone..but I had burned over 1000 calories in cardio and lifted that day so I as fine. I’m taking in 1004 to 1066 calories a day at this point..Have felt really good up til today..my muscles feel tired,,and I have a headache..kinda nauseous liek today..I will be eating in about 15min..so that should help.
Next week, I will do one more week of the cycleing with peanut butter. trying to get my plateau to break and drop 10lbs. The coach that I have critqueing my posing and my training said 10 lbs is more than enuf..I’m feeling like I need to lose more than that..more like 13..then the last week of pre-contest..hoping to shed about 4-5 lbs of water weight..so we will see..all a learning experience.
My arms are looking really good, and shoulders/delts..getting really kinda veiny..plus I’ve started the whole hairless thing..with a spray on hair remover..LOL that is a look to get used to..
Right now just trying to stay focused and motivated..really need to start practicing posing more and more..
On to the weekend..yay..sand volleyball all day Sat..my first social outing in months

I’m 10 weeks out and so far so good. I have started a carb cylce for this week and next. T, Th and Sat. I drop the rice/oatmeal and supplement a tblsp of natural peanut butter. Today was my first day of doing this..and I miss my oatmeal..I’m feeling somewhat weak this morning..
But I did bike for 50 min., ran 2 miles/20min and 5 min incline walk with a 20 min elliptical session..burnign a total of 550 cal for the morning session. I lift at noon, and then run tonite for 20 min. more..and did 400 crunches this morning..
I’m practicing my posing 3 nites a week,,now..making it flow..LOL
I;m feeling pretty confident right now..plus I’ve ordered my "pretties" to decorate my suit and will start tanning tonite. Things are starting to fall into place and I know that these 10 weeks will go by faster than I’m ready for! I’m excited..and that helps keep my focused.
My plan is to up my cardio 5 min. a day/6 days a week ..each week..right now I’m doing 70 min a day..YAY!

Okay,,so I’m almost 10 weeks out,,and the reality of this competition is really setting in..I’m already nervous..but that is helping me drive to winning that show!
I’ve been eating pretty much the same diet for about 2 months or more..my weight bounces from 138 to 141..augh..so I know I’ve got some water in there..My trainer has me doing a carb cylce next week 2 days carbs,,then off, then on.etc…and on carb days I get to have peanut butter , 1 tablespoon, 2 x day! I’m so pumped! LOL people really look at me funny when I get so excited about that "treat" .
I havn’t had much for cheat meals..maybe a bite of blueberries..or acouple ritz crackers one day and a few almonds..but nothing real bad..just off the diet..I’m frustrated and obsessed with getting that damn scale to move!
My cardio is a med. intensity.bike for 40 min..then hit the gym for 45-50 min. of cardio on the elliptical or stairclimber,,then 10 bike home.. and I run 3-4 miles in the evening..maybe its time to start upping the cardio by about 10 minutes? That may be my plan of attack next week..on my higher carb days…
Well, off to do house work before relaxing at the bookstore with the kids,,and then to Dick’s sporting goods to get football junk! yay! Have a great day! Thanks for listening to me ramble!

Okay so Sunday starts the official 12 weeks out! I’m excited,,and nervous..the weeks seem to be closin in faster and faster..I allowed a little cheat on Sat. as my sis was here from out of town..I had a handful of non-buttered popcorn,, and several bites of a funnel cake..which I’m still paying for today (sat. morn.) OMG..i was so freaking,,sick to my stomach and nauseated,,and that damn bloating feel. yuck..won’t do that crap again.
I need to find a new fat burner.. The redline rtd drinks, were wonderful..and really work .but its been bout the 2 months and I have to switch by that time, so debating on going back to the DREN or trying 1 month of Slimquick..as that suppose to help with hormone control..lord knows that would be wonderful! Today I’m just kicking it,,did ride bike in the morning with my sis, for about an hour,,and debating on going to do some cardio at the gym..real tired..was out late on a call..so that didn’t help much..
Well I will blog again on Monday..to kick off the training journal..YAY ..here we go…

Yay! it’s Monday..LOL..I actually was up at 4:30 a.m. to get the majority of my workout in,,,since I had a meeting at lunchtime..I’m feeling good..Have stayed on the diet real well..and the thought of only having 30 min. of cardio to do tonite is wonderful!
I’ve been letting myself "cheat" just a little each day..using the excuse that I’m not to the 12 wk. timeframe yet, and still lifting way ahead of schedule..but that’s catching up with me..at least on the scale..
Also, having issues with the Mother nature thing..anyone else have this problem? First it was spread out a long time in between weeks..but this month..I had 1 and then started again 10 days later..wtf? Not as bad of water gain and cramping though.. not sure what to think..will give it a week, then I guess I will go to the quack…was wondering if maybe its just my body "adjusting" again..or tryin to break thru the plateau….time will tell I guess..ladies..any help here? I sure would appreciate it..from what I’ve read..stress..and a major weight loss/gain…can cause this..so..i think this to will pass..

Thursday..and it’s leg and tricep day…The only cardio that i did this morning.was a 30 min. bike ride and 15min. of ab work..
I went running last nite, stored my phone in my cleavage (anyone else do this) and all the sweat ruined it! So i’m going crzy without my txting..and MY phone..using my son’s..which..OMG has some weird ring tone..til my new one arrives..so I was stressed out..burnt my stomach on the stove w hile cooking eggs..guess that’s a clue..and the rest of the nite went to hell..I ended up cheating on my diet..which totally messed with my head…aughhhh.. somedays I just dont’ know what the hell I think im doing-really doubting things right now..damn it..i’ve got to learn to get over those mental mounds..and stay focused..my leg workout went fairly well..so I’m trying to get into the groove to run to nite after work..
any pointers here would be much appreicated…i feel like curling up on the couch at work,,watching csi..and eating anything but tuna!

Okay..so I’m having a garage sale this weekend to help fund my training..and my kids are wanting to sell cookies and lemonade! yumm! all good til the cookie dough was made…and I failed..god i love cookie dough…esp. choc chip…but I’ve been eating clean enuf..the scale was only up about .8 of a lb..so I don’t feel to bad..I havn’t had cheat meals in some time either,,so it was kinda good to see what would happen..
today is Wed..which is my cardio only day..no weights..just abs…so I will cardio it up good.. I biked about 20 min. this morning,,300 crunches,,20 min..steady fast pace run..and 30 min. elliptcal..so that helped.. the cheat from last nite made me bloated and gave me stomach cramps….so I know what sugar does to me…not in the mood for doing that again..aughhh..hurts..
ooh ya..actually tried my favorite diet dr.peper the other day (small) at the movies…and had 1 sip..couldn’t stand the taste! yuck! so my son had 2 soda’s LOL he was pleased..

Okay..so as of Sunday, I have tweaked my diet. I’m holding onto a 10.4 % bodyfat,,but the scale doesn’t move..I’m a shaky, LOL 138/139 and I want to compete at 119-122..My wonderful blueberries,,gone…and my apple gone..until the end of July..then will reexamine..and see where I’m at..
Not sure how I should be lifting..I love supersets..but it was time to change it up..so the end of this month will bring some great changes, i hope..currently switched to 2 body parts a day..with straight sets..4 excercises per part, with12-15 reps..and ab work equivalent to 600 crucnhes a day..
Right now I’m not feeling like I’m gaining (or losing) much..the scale thing is really buggin me..anyone have any helpful info other than throwing the damn thing out?? LOL
I think I’m going to try to do this blogging to help me stay motivated..My show isn’t until Oct. 24th, so I want to be in tip top shape…woohoo!!
