Sat night had a very good back workout. Bought some straps to use instead of gloves and liked it much better. Didn’t feel like bar was going to split from fingertips. Solid hr on Elliptical doing HIIT twice for 20 mins each then steady for the last 20. Eating was good.
Sunday was nothing but an hr of Cardio (all elliptical) and Abs (21 total sets). Food was good til dinner time…damn Surf and Turf. Why can’t they keep with the grilled chicken all the time. Not everybody wants a dry steak and fried shrimp. Oh well, Sunday night is my cheat meal night.

Been sore and not able to completely do the following days exercise so I’m gonna change it up. Going to one body part a day with 1hr of cardio afterwards to see if I can make the changes I wanna see.

I’ve slipped hard the last 3 days. Work schedule is jacked right now with people on vacation back in the states so we’ve been doing quick turns (8 hr turn-arounds), so its jacking with sleep/workout schedule. I’m still eating pretty good…just not getting the quality sleep or workouts along with it. I’ll get back on board after my next rotation.
I WILL CHANGE!!!!

Good workouts the last few days (especially last night). Woke up this morning with some very sore bi’s. Still having lil issues with eating…but I’ve completely replaced sodas with Tea…so thats a plus. Still need to work on the eating better/cleaner to make better results.

A few small hiccups with the eating (not the whole meal, but a lil something extra with a meal here and there) and one with working out. Life (work) got in the way so I had to change a workout day to an off day and vice versa but thats been it. Though its been about only about a week…I can feel changes in the way I feel. Not just the soreness…but body feels tighter (if thats possible) in places. Especially my arms. They feel fuller.
I keep looking at food items looking for things that i can chance out (since I eat in a military dining hall in Krygyzstan) to try and make things easier for me to follow this routine. So, for anybody that reads this (that has followed one of Steve’s), can you send me a private message with some tips that you may have used that helped you out? Thank you.
STILL TRUCKING AWAY!!!!

I have never worked bi’s/tri’s together. Always did the usualy type of routine (back/bi; chest/tri; etc…), so DaYum….working out the way Steve has planned for me is excruciating on the muscles. When I walk (crawl/stumble) out of the gym I definately know that I have nothing left. AQnd that is a very good good feeling when you can’t lift your arms to drink a shake after a workout. I might have to invest in some straws to use for days like today. hahaha Also, I’m not one to go by the numbers alot knowing that muscle weighs more than fat so I might not lose any weight but I can/will transform myself to where I want to be. But this evening…after a solid workout, good day of eating. I decided to jump on the scale just to see. After 4 days of following Steve’s plan I have a 5 lb weight loss. Hmmm, so what is in store for this stubborn body of mine? Looks like it’s going to change whether it wants to or not. Thank you Steve.
LETS GO PPL…WE GOT THIS!!!!!

Mmmm body felt so sore this morning. Isn’t that such a good thing? Anyway, had a mid again last night, so I’m not going to get all my meals in. But I’ve been spot on (except for a diet coke) with meals. Taking in good amounts of protein as prescribed. Leg workout could have been better…started a lil lower on weight than I could have done (didn’t realize until after reps were done). Didn’t want to make same mistake as yesterday of overpushing weights and not getting in all the reps. Wanting to cut a lil more than add. But overall still pleased with workout, at least it gives me a good baseline to start off with weights next leg workout.
Steve, big props, I like the workouts.
LETS GO!!!

Here are beginng stats: 41, 5′11", 232 lbs, body fat 20.1%, Right Bi - 15 1/2(relax) – 16 3/8 (flex); Left Bi 15 – 15 3/4; Chest - 48 3/4 — 52; Neck - 17 — 18 1/2; Waist - 45 3/4 (no need to try and flex this thing..haha).
Day one was good. Stayed on eating plan well for the day, only had 4 meals though since I had a mid the night before so I slept some of the day away. Workout (Chest/Abs/Cardio) was good. Not used to as many exercises per body part so that drained me…but it was a good drain. When I did prescribed cardio afterwards I didn’t think I was going to be able to last. But I did and I felt really good (had a good sweat and raised that heartbeat). Feel really good about putting everything down on paper for the day/week to help me stay on track. I think joining Steve’s Team is going to really benefit me knowing i’m responsible to set an example of how you can transform your body by staying consistent with your workouts/eating.
LETS GO!!! LETS DO THIS!!!

I’ve been hitting the gym pretty decent here lately. Going to the gym a good 6 days a week (cardio all 6 days and weights 4 days). I do still see that I need to make better eating decisions. I’ll do good for the most part putting decent stuff on my plate…but then instead of grabbing a bottle of water/milk, I end up grabbing a Diet Coke/Dr. Pepper to have with it. I think thats going to be my biggest habit to break.
Had a good back/abs workout last night. Wide-grip lat pulldowns (4×12), Close-grip underhand pulldowns (4×12), Low cable rows (4×10), bent over one-arm dumbbell rows (4×10), plate side bends (4×20 each side), stability ball crunch (4×15), stability ball pull-in (4×15).
Lets see how todays leg workout goes.

Hmm…where to start. I’ve been working out for years on end, but never watched what I ate. So you could say that my working out has only slightly sustained my current body and not changeg it. But now i’m in Krygyzstan. Away from family, friends and all the evil things that I had around me to hinder my body from changing. Yes, I know what kept me from changing were my choices, but I enjoy having fun. And I hope that once I transform my body…that I will keep it up when I finally get back to the states. I plan on working out 6 days a week. I plan on doing an hour of cardio before my workouts each day. 4 days a week I plan on doing weights. I’ll begin my quest, giving it a full effort, around the 1 Aug 2009. I’m not saying that I’m not doing anything right now…but I will not but down my 1 can of Coke a day until then. And from then on I will try my damndest to eat good(eating completely clean is about impossible here). Also, if anyone would like to take a look at my supplements I am taking and offering some good advice, please do so. I’m still pretty new to taking supplements so I shall see how this goes.
Also, I’m continuously reading mags (Flex, Muscle and Fitness, Muscular Development, etc.) trying to get ideas and workout info. So again…any ideas.tiups would be greatly appreciated. Not sure how much change this 41 yr old body can do…but its going to be put thru the ringer to find out.
Take care.
