I’M SICK!! :(

I never get sick. Ever!

 

Now, here I am, sick with the flu (my temp this morning was 101.8). I wonder how long I’ll be outta comission for…

 

I am so miserable, and the only thing that sounds good to me right now is a small bowl of orange sherbert. The smell of food alone right now makes me gag. I don’t think that I could stomach chicken and brocolli right now!!

I lost 5% bodyfat in a month~!

My trainer did the dreaded bf test this afternoon….  I lost a whole 5% in a month!! I am now down to 15%!!! YEAH!!

 

‘Cuz the scale wasn’t budging, I , being female, was bummed. My clothes are fitting better ( I just purchased smaller jeans)… but WHY do I have to be so damn obsessed with the scale?? I should just toss it into the trash right now, shouldn’t I??

 

I’m excited to see where I will be in another month!!! :)

 

Btw, trainer dude said that BF probably won’t come off so quickly after this (of course), and he was impressed.  Kept saying, "I knew you had lost some BF, but I sure didn’t think that it was THIS much."

CRAP!!!

So, yep. I’ve got some muscle def creepin’ into these arms of mine!! My trainer noticed it big time today; he stood me in between two mirrors so that I could see everything while I was doing my upright rows. Kick a$$!!! So, Fred and I sat down after the workout to discuss competition dates, and which shows that he think would be the best for me. I am doing one in May!! WHOO HOO!! If I keep this diet sqeaky clean, and continue my workouts, I’ll have this show on the road in no time flat.

 

Hell. I’m half tempted to get out the ol’ swimsuits and have The Hubs take some pics. It’s pretty damn cool how my body is changing it’s shape… I just can’t wait to see the end results!!

BAAAAHHH!!

I cheated on my diet yesterday. I’m kind of beating myself up for it, but it’s a new day, and I ain’t gonna let it bog me down for too long.

 

I’ve heard that cheating here and there can actually be good for your body, "shocking" your metabolism.

 

Any thoughts on this??

Monday’s workout

Today I worked with my trainer, upper body. He noticed some cuts I’m beginning to get on my arms; triceps and shoulders. YAY!!! Fred said that now that we are beginning to see defintion, we are gonna start to take the workouts up a few notches. Lower body is tomorrow, and I am STILL sore from the last lower body workout that we did on Friday. Fred also gave me a some new fatburners to try, RedLine. It really helped with my cardio session that followed weights; I whipped out four miles no problem!!

 

I am getting really excited about the prospect of competing. The diet isn’t even bothering me like it was, either. I made some kick-arse curry chicken and red bell pepper kabobs for dinner the other night, and didn’t even miss the carbs!!

Super sore!!!

So, I did lower body work with Fred on Friday. I was sore yesterday, but nothing compared to how sore I am today!! Getting in and out of bed, walking up and down stairs, even standing to wash the dishes today is extremely painful. Granted, it’s the good type of pain that I like, putting a smile on my face ‘cuz I know that I worked my arse off…. but WHEW!! Pain, pain, pain. I have to get my butt outside to run later, and I am cringing at the thought. It’ll get better as I am out there doing it, but all I can think of right now is "OUCH!!!".

 

It’s almost as painful as the Chiefs’ loss yesterday. (GRRRRR…… :X)

Is there such a thing as TOO MUCH SWEAT??!?!

Yuck.

 

So, today at the gym, trainer dude and I were working lower body. I swear to you, that I sweat MORE with continual resistance training than I would if I was on the treadmill running for miles upon miles. Why is this?? Does anyone have overactive sweatglands like mine?? I mean, it’s somewhat embarrassing, especially since I sweat on my face more so than other folks I see out there exercisin’. My trainer, Fred, said that it was defintely a good thing, and that eventually I’d be sweating even more.

 

Not that I mind, ‘cuz I know that I’m getting in a fantastic workout, and I shouldn’t compare myself to everyone else either, but I was soaked in the first seven minutes.

 

My cute lil’ workout outfit didn’t stand a CHANCE!

Today’s workout kicked my arse!

I worked out with my trainer today after a week’s haitus from the holiday’s. Needless to say, it was some pretty intense training!!

 

We worked upper body, but the ab work that he had me do before we began weights was hardcore (no pun intended)!!

 

He gave me a list of figure/ bodybuilding competitions that will take place this spring and summer. Bodyfat % check is next week, and we will decide from there which competion that we will pick out, with the date of it being the factor for how much time we have with my body progressing the way it is. My trainer even mentioned today, during the dumbbell press, that he was really starting to see the defintion!!

 

I can’t wait!!

 

So, I cheers myself with my wonderful protein shake, and am actually looking forward to the HIIT that I have goin’ on tomorrow morning.
