Woke up pretty tired this morning. I was so tempted to sleep in, but managed to somehow suck it up and get going. To my surprise, I got into it pretty quickly and before I knew it I was huffing and puffing and sweating like crazy. There was some serious improvement in the balance and stabilization departments for sure. I again had to skip the last 15 minutes due to time constraints, but overall I must say I was pretty happy with my performance. I think it even helped my sore shoulder blade a bit. We’ll see when I try the pullups tomorrow

I woke up kind of tired today. I think the recovery week is coming up just at the right time. Got my bf% measured before I started the workout, and it has dropped 2.2% since Day 1. I’ll analyze and compare more thoroughly when I get home. The workout was good. I slowed down a bit today and made sure my form was perfect on every single rep. I’m so sore right now lol. The only thing that sucks is, me and my buddy kind of pushed ourselves too far when we were doing bench dips I guess and it didn’t help my already hurting right shoulder blade (from monday). I’m sure it will go away in a couple days, but it just feel uncomfortable right now. My arms are my strongest body part as it is, but even so I was able to definitely feel an increase in strength in my bi’s (and more definition in tri’s). I’m definitely going to miss this workout until week 9
I did ab-ripper X, right after shoulders and arms and man I’m getting there, I can feel it. I was able to do 25 in&outs with hands up with ease, followed by 25 bicycles back and forth each, without any rest. Pulse-ups are getting easier as well. And I was able to do 50 mason twists without resting which is awesome. But I almost always get so paranoid when I’m doing those twists, thinking that I’m gonna throw my back or something lol.
Tomorrow is Yoga-X and hopefully the shoulder blade thing won’t prevent me from effectively completing it.

I was up and ready to bring it despite the snow we got last night. My gym is pretty close to where I live so the ride wasn’t too bad. The workout was good. The intensity was right where it should be, I was exhausted by the end. I could definitely tell my quads and calves were fried. I don’t know if there is any improvement in my vertical yet, but I can definitely tell my balance and body control is much better than it was 3 weeks ago. I’m also burning a ton of calories so what’s not to love about plyo Tomorrow is shoulders and arms, barring any severe weather. I’m so ready!

Great workout overall. I upped the reps to 25 on the standard and wide push ups and 15-17 on the military and diamond push ups (with the last 5 reps of diamond push ups being with knees touching the floor). Next time I should increase the weight for the heavy pants and lawnmowers rather than increasing the reps. Pull up variations weren’t that great. I’m definitely way better than where I was 3 weeks ago, but I still have a few workouts to go until I can pull at least 10 reps with ease, I guess. On the last rep of the diver push ups I kind of tweaked my right shoulder blade. It’s not too bad, but I can feel it, bleh Next workout, I will slow down a bit and see how it affects the pull up performance. Today I was easily 8-10 mins ahead of the gang. I’ll add a couple water breaks and ballistic stretches here and there and we’ll see how it goes…Tomorrow is Plyo day and I’m finding it quite amazing that I’m actually looking forward to it lol

I went to bed pretty early for a Saturday night and woke up feeling nice and fresh this morning. The stretching felt really good in so many places. I feel very relaxed and umm zoned out right now. Almost like I’m floating. Don’t have much else to say really…Feeling good and looking forward to tomorrow’s workout. Now it’s time to watch the Australian Open Final…

So when I woke up this morning, I hardly felt any stiffness/soreness in my legs even though I went all out during the leg workout yesterday. The warm-up and stretch in the beginning felt really good. The workout itself was great as well. Burnt a ton of calories to begin the day, so the diet which has been mediocre today won’t hurt me much. Errr at least I hope so…I’m really looking forward to Monday to see if there is an increase in my pullup performance.

I went to bed pretty early last night, but still didn’t get to fall asleep til like 11:30pm. I felt much better than the day before when I woke up though. The workout was good. I pushed myself very hard. To my surprise, I noticed a significant improvement in my pullups (around 2 full reps more per exercise woo hoo). I’m psyched about that. I’ve also lost about 2 lbs of fat since Day 1 which excites me with the anticipation of Day 90. I feel really good right now and look forward to sweating it out at Kenpo tomorrow morning!

I feel so tired right now lol. It took every ounce of determination I had in me to stick with it and not skip the day. I started around 5:45am and did the best I could for the most part. I skipped the last 10 mins of ab work at the end. I felt a slight improvement in my overall performance but I know it could (and should) get much better. This is the first time in the last two weeks that I’m feeling this drained and wiped out. I really gotta go to bed early tonight and get some quality sleep. Legs & back tomorrow

Man I crushed it!!! Awesome workout! The pump is still going strong…Not much else to say about the workout really, it was kickass! I did abripper-x right after this workout for a change and I don’t think I’m gonna do that again for a while lol. After I was done with the ab workout, it took a while for my pulse to go down to normal. I felt fine, but still, I just feel like I’m gonna make more out of this ab routine if I space it out and do it in the evening when I get home from work. Caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror before I left for the gym this morning, and I could definitely see some slimming down on the obliques. I’ll get a bf% reading next Monday which will be Day 15. Hmmmm
So tomorrow is Yoga-X. I wanna say yikes, but at the same time I’m kinda looking forward to it because yoga and plyo are going to be my best options to measure improvements in. I’m not the slightest bit sore from Plyo yesterday, even though I went all out. Hmmm….

I had a tough time sleeping last night so I didn’t think I was going to be able to go all out. Man, was I in for a nice surprise or what! After the first 10 minutes or so, I felt much better and pushed myself all the way as hard as I could. I definitely felt an improvement since the last time. I still had some difficulty with the rockstar hops and the jump knee tucks, but even those were better than last week. I was in the 160-170 hbpm range through the workout, but I didn’t run out of gas which makes me happy. Tomorrow is shoulder&arms and it should be REAL GOOD!
