I’m getting stress out. Should I consider taking steroid?
May 12, 2009I’m doing a total body workout for gaining mass. My routine is
Mon: Chest/Tricep
Tues: Bicep/Legs
Wed: Traps/Shoulder
And continue. Rest on Sat.
I’m 64.5kg when I started last two months, and now I’m 69.1kg. Cytogainer really helps alot.
But the thing is, I don’t think I’m getting bigger.I ate big, lift big, sleep 10hrs per day and after workout, but my shape is the same. True, I gained weight, but not in the shape.
The problem is, say I’m doing: Incline Smith, Flat DB, Decline DB, Chest Flies, Pullover. My muscle used to ache the next day, I couldn’t even do a push-up. But now, even after I increase the weight, sets and reps, I couldn’t complete my Pullover. But the next morning, I don’t feel a thing. I could even do 100 push-ups.
As far as I know, when your muscle is aching, it is growing. So does that mean it doesn’t grow anymore?? The more heavy I lift, the more I couldn’t complete my reps or workout cos the muscle has already numb. But as soon as I reach home, the numb is gone and I could lift my heavy table around the house. What is this? Is my muscle playing tricks on me?
How can I overcome this to make my chest and body bigger? I look all over the web, youtube, but it’s all the same old workout plan that I did.
Should I take a steroid to boost it?
Would someone please give me an answer..!!
