Protein

Hi all,

I’m having a bit of a problem.  I used to be able to drink a whey protein —low carb at least with skim milk.  I cannot have it just with water.

Now I’m having a hard time having it mixed into anything.  Even a flavourless one.  I don’t know what to do.  I’m just not liking the taste of the protein all together.

 Any suggestions?

Have you tried any of Jay Robb’s Whey Protein?? All of the flavors are absolutely delish! I Like the strawberry, and I mix it with skim milk, and also the chocolate. I drink it after my workout, and I also have fruit mixed in. With the chocolate I mix in raspberries….think about it, chocolate raspberries!! Give them a try. I actually look forward to them. Good luc!

I LOVE Beverly International UMP (Ultimate Muscle Protein) in the chocolate flavor. Only 120 calories a scoop and it mixes so easily in water, ff milk, whatever. I’ve tried many many proteins and next to ON 100% Whey (Double Chocolate) Beverly is the only other one that I use.

I think it does take some experimentation to see what you like. I love Jay Robb’s as well. It is a little pricey, which is why I don’t buy it, but it is really good. I think you can buy single serving packets, too, to try it out. Like china2U, I am also a HUGE fan of Optimum Nutrition protein powders. Also, I like to add protein powder to my oatmeal protein pancakes and regular oatmeal… a little goes a long way.

I also use the ON Whey Protein, after trying like 3 others. The Optimum Nutrition is just awesome with milk (fat free of course).
