A Question for those of you with tact……

So in desperate need of taking some new update pics, and have been both impressed and inspired by many of yours out there.  Anyone have any recommendations on the tactful way to ask folks in the Gym to take some shots of me without sounding either (a) overly conceited or (b)weird!  Any advice from those of you out there without a workout partner or resident photographer?

I did that once … get that ONCE? She was an attractive aerobics instructor, Tracey. I know her personally. I was entering a challenge with a buddy. Toughest thing I ever did and, no, I’d never do it again. I asked her, ’cause I knew she’d get why it was part of the challenge. Otherwise, sorry, buddy, no good ideas from me!

Hey Hun…. do u have a 10 sec timer on your camera? That’s how I do most of my shots….. I’m home alone and the cats and dogs are not really that ambidextrous!!

At the end of the day, while there is no easy way to ask someone to take photo’s of you without sounding like either a or b, who really cares? It’s all about you anyway, right? You’re not asking someone to take photo’s of you for them……..well,……right? At any rate, just ask, explain if they give you the hairy eyebrow, and if they don’t, just pose away. Be beyond what mainstream thinks, be unique. You’re not really living unless you’re making others feel uneasy anyway….
