I am now a red belt

Friday, July 18th, 2008

I took my belt test on Thursday the 17th (My birthday) and passed. I am now two steps away from my black belt. I was very nervous and nearly passed out when it was my turn, but I fought hard and performed my best and cleared my head from all thoughts. After I found out I passed, not only was it on my birthday and it was a great gift indeed, I got a bit emotional. I know you guys are thinking why get emotional, it’s just a belt. No, it’s not a belt, it’s a new path of way because I realized I can do anything if I put my mind to it. I am dedicated in my Karate and am looking to get my teaching license someday. I am training to be an instructor because I want to pursue a career in the martial arts. Not only have I gained knowledge and power, but loyalty. Domo Arigato!

The best tool is LOVE

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008

I know at times you people out there have a hard time keeping up your regimes. I also have that too, but find ways to keep up with them. The best way to keep yourself at it and do what you do is LOVE it! That’s right! I realized if you don’t LOVE what you do, you’ll never be good at it.

LOVE keeps you on your toes whether it’s a girl or a hobby or just an activity. I have made this motto of mine my motivation. I do what I do because I LOVE it! Karate for example, it took me a long time to get to it and I always wanted to learn, but I was always into it. Once I strated I was sucked in and found my new path in life. I still am doing it to this day. Why? Because I LOVE it! I am currently on my purple belt and will strive to great lengths to earn my black belt and too become a great martial artist and teach others.

Just like Bodybuilding. Why do these guys go through great lengths to get these huge massive wonderful bodies? Why do they even bother? Why do they perform on stage with over hundreds of people watching them flex and strut and sweat. Why do they go through that humiliation. At the same time they feel pain and adreniline. They know they are being admired and envied. It races through their hearts. However, they do it because it makes them feel good. If they want to be successful in the sport and dedicate themselves to it they got to be  determined and focus. Last but not least they LOVE it! People out there don’t realize how addicting this sport really is and misunderstand the art form and beauty of it. Although, the truth is you must have LOVE to do what you do and LOVE helps you in so many ways. It gives you courage and motivation as well as confidence. LOVE also isn’t hard to have. I know this may sound too cliche but it’s the God honest truth. Without LOVE, how are you going to continue achieving your goals and grow value to this sport or anything else in that matter. Why do people give up so easily nowadays because lost of interest, because they don’t have thje time or the effort? That’s the stupidest excuse I hear all the time. No, it’s because they don’t have LOVE. They want to do  it, but they just don’t give enough. I keep this withme always and really has helped me alot. No matter what circumstances or problems you may have, you still need to be commited to push those away and literally just fight tooth and nail for it. I fight just about everyday. Whether it is cooking in the kitchen or at the dojo training, I’m fighting constantly. If I have to fight to do what I LOVE, I will, but most importantly I will LOVE it. Domo Arigato!

What really burns my ass!

Saturday, February 9th, 2008

Why are people so arrogant here? Especially ones who don’t have that great of bodies? Sometimes you just want to slap these people silly. Another thing that really bothers me is that certain people I have commented on their profiles and they just give me this brush off like they are better than me. For example, well I was taken off one users list because he hasn’t heard from me in awhile. So, he decides to take lots of guys off his list because he doesn’t hear from them. Here’s a tip, PM (Private Message). Then one guy who is on my list accuses me of negative ratings on his profile which I never did. Anyway, he’s cool now and realized it wasn’t me. Right, Paul?

Also, when you try to make new friends here and add a person on your list, they decline.

This one guy who I tried three times was such an ass. I commented on how good his profile looks and his body, and he’s like "Okay, thanks", That was the list the last time I added him on my friends list and that really made my blood boil, so I took him out of my list for the third and final time and came to  conclusion he just has a chip on his shoulder. He’s also not that great of shape either. Neither am I, but am not afraid to admit it. Who the Hell do these guys think they are anyway? There’s so many guys here with so much better bodies than them who are the sweetest guys here, and are nowhere near as arrogant and cold as these *******s! Especially some of these middle aged old farts. They can go take a jump off a cliff somewhere. You comment somebody and they give you attitude. F*** YOU! I tolerate lots of things and arrogance and selfishness isn’t one of them.

I get very turned off by some of these people sometimes. Is it me or do people ever experience this kind of behavior on this Bodyspace?  I usually don’t take offense to it, but after a semi feud with one user, i decided to PM him and ask how he was doing and commented that he looked great. He obviously got my messages, but didn’t respond back like he didn’t know me. So, I did something to let off some steam. I wrote this blog! I think  some people should hear us out so we don’t get ridiculed or brushed off by these creeps. Especially a 2nd shift grocery clerk. Whoops! I guess I let that one slip so sue me! Word of advice, if people give positive comments on your profiles, you always should do the same in return. I always do. Also, just because you don’t hear from us doesn’t mean we’re not your friends anymore, we’re just very busy with our schedules and haven’t had the chance to keep in touch.

Jersey Turkey Cheese Steaks on Tomato Basil Wrap and Zucchini Fries

Wednesday, January 9th, 2008

Hello, guys. Some of you were curious to see what I cook. So I decided to post a few recipes.

(Jersey Turkey Cheese Steaks on Tomato Basil Wrap and Zucchini Fries)

2 Tomato Basil tortilla flat breads

1 lb. of sliced turkey breast
(No specific brand really, just not processed)

diced onions, mushrooms and peppers on a little dish

2 thick slices of Swiss shredded

2 thick slices of American  shredded

1 Large Zucchini

seasoned bread crumbs

(Jersey Turkey Cheese Steaks on Tomato Basil Wrap)

Step One: First, you’re going to get pan with  a little bit of oil.
Turn the flame on medium and let it get hot for about five minutes
throw the little dish of diced vegetables in and let them brown until
moist.

Step Two: Put the vegetables on the side and throw in the the lb. of
turkey and cook by stiring it in the pan and use tongs to rip and let
it get moist and afterwards, mix it with the vegetables.

Step Three: After that’s done, split into two and simmer the temperature
a little. Now throw the shredded cheeses on top of them, and put the lid
on top of the pan and shut the temperature. Don’t worry, it will melt.

Step Four: Take two Tomato Basil Flat Breads and put a ring of cream
cheese outside. Then, take the pan and a spatula and put each serving
on one Wrap, and place it in the middle. Finally, cuff the top and bottom
and roll the wrap very tight and the cream cheese will help it stick. Enjoy!

(Zucchini Fries)

Take one large zucchini and peel the skin off it with a peeler. Then, cut
into French or regular Fry size portions. Next you’re going to throw them
in a bowl of seasoned bread crumbs and mix them until they are covered well.
Finally, you’re going to throw them in a hot pan with a deep fried oil and
fry them until brown. After they are fried, throw them in a strainer
to drain, and then on a paper towel to dry them. This will go well with the
Turkey Cheese Steaks along with a glass of soda.

Stuffed Tuna Tomato Shots

Wednesday, January 9th, 2008

Hello, guys! Some people out there we’re curious to see what I cook and here’s a simple recipe you will enjoy, and it’s very easy.
(Stuffed Tuna Tomato Shots)
2 thick pieces of Tuna
1 case of the golf ball size cherry tomatoes
1 whole lemon for lemon juice
2 Tablespoons of minced garlic
2 Tablespoons of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of pepper
2 Jalapeno peppers diced fine

Step one: Take two nice thick pieces of raw tuna steaks and slice them up in
little pieces until they’re fine. After that, throw in a mixing bowl.

Step Two: Then, take two whole pieces of Jalapeno peppers and dice them
very fine and throw them in the bowl along with the tuna.

Step Three: Pour in one teaspoon of pepper, 2 tablespoons of minced garlic
from a jar or freshly done ones by yourself, 2 Tablespoons of Soy sauce,
and a cup for the lemon juice from the whole lemon.

Step Four: Now mix all the ingredients that are in the bowl very well
and then you are going to chill it for a good ten minutes. While that
is being done, grab your golf ball sized cherry tomatoes and a tray. Now, cut
the tops off and scoop out the inside of the tomato and line them up on
a tray. After that’s all done, take out your bowl of the mixture out
of the refrigerator, and grab a little spoon.

Step Five: You’re now going to scoop the tuna mixture and stuff in the tomato
very carefully so that it doesn’t break. Stuff the tomatoes until they reach
the top and after they’re are all stuffed, throw them in a preheated oven or
toaster on 350 degrees and let it cook for a half and hour. After they are done,
garnish the top with sliced olive and capers in the middle of the olive, and
serve with a glass of red wine. Enjoy

Neglecting muscles

Sunday, December 16th, 2007

How many of you are partially developed? I  have realized that my body has certain under developments I should say. For example, I have calves and thighs, but no hamstrings or glutes. Another, I have pecs and  shoulders but no traps. I’ve come to the conclusion that I am training half-ass or not training hard enough.
Also, I think that my Karate training is distracting my bodybuilding regimen. I want to look like a bodybuilder as well as a martial artist. It’s tough to do both at once, but I believe that one could do anything if they put their mind to it. Lots of projects I started had been unfinished. I’m big at that, but made a commitment that I would live my dream. I want to get on stage and perform as well as be good at karate.

However, I feel doing both have really have done faults to my body. That’s why my neck and arms aren’t big enough or developed well. It’s also annoying that you train your ass off and at times you look the same, or so that’s what I say. I’ve had certain people cursing me out saying that I don’t belong to this website because, I’m too tired looking or not well developed as well as people like saying that people are only commenting me because they feel sorry for me and don’t have the balls to say that I look like shit.
As well as certain ***s who say my profile is good for a laugh and that my photos we’re horrible when he looks like he looks like he’s a bible salesman who lives with his mother.

I know my body is not perfect, but I feel that I had to get this off my chest, because there are lot of  you guys who are not happy with certain aspects with their bodies. Even when you have people harassing your profile saying you look like Jerry Seinfeld. Yeah, I had people tell me that. When I was younger, it was Matthew Broderick, but I would take Matthew Broderick any day over Seinfeld. Sadly, another said Andy Dick and I wanted to ****ing die as well as strangle Andy Dick!

People here tell me all the time to work on this and that, but these guys are not even posting photos of themselves and that pisses me off when they’re telling me to work harder.

The Thanksgiving Curse

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

Now we know that every Holiday it’s hard to keep up with our Regimen. However, when you’re celebrating Thanksgiving, it’s hard to keep up with anything. Who can avoid the stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, or lasagna, pasta and sauce, hams Roast Beef or biscuits and gravy.

What about dessert like pumpkin, apple, cherry pie, ice cream cake or pastries like eclairs, Lobster tails, Chocolate brownies, or all that other good stuff. You don’t want to be an ******* by not eating any of the food, but at times you just don’t want to eat it. Well, that’s why rules we’re meant to be broken. If you must eat it, then do so. After all, this is comfort food I must say.

Though, I must say that the day after is a real big bitch! When your refrigerator is loaded with nothing but leftovers, you know you are doomed. At least you have something to look forward too. Every year, after Thanksgiving night, I  must admit that I sneak an after midnight snack to blend in the rest of my system. The day after is the best, because you’re just dying to have more, even if it means having it for breakfast lunch and dinner. Once I take one bite, I know for a fact that I’m tempted to eat more.

To conclude it, every Thanksgiving is a big treat, The more I eat, the more I am tempted. Even if it means cheating on your Regimen, let it be. The joy of Thanksgiving is not just enjoying the Turkey and sides, but family time as well. That’s why good food and family distracts your train of thought, but nobody’s perfect. All I can say is that I feel the love handles coming out, so that means after the weekend ends, I’m going to get my ass kicked!
