Ah the leg day
Today was honestly a tough day in the gym. After my morning clients I hit the gym myself and I did not bring the energy that I needed to. I could say it was because I was in there all morning or blame something else but it was really just me not wanting it bad enough. The only thing I felt was up to my standard was calf raises with 470 lbs on the leg press. I did however have a great abs workout when I went back to the gym that night for another client. Once I finished with him I worked the abs hard and it made me feel a little better about this morning’s workout. Moral of the story is a classic one; it’s mind over matter. I need to always control the weights and not let the weight control me. I am looking forward to when legs makes it back into my rotation, it will be a different story then.
