It’s time to get lean…
For 28 days, I got back in the grind…me versus the iron. Having new focus made set after set better and better. Whether it was pulling or pushing that weight, feeling the weights get heavier and the muscles larger by the week, this all did nothing but add fuel to the fire. My focus and determination have been skyrocketed. I started on Aug 3rd at 155 lbs on an empty stomach in the morning and by Aug. 31st, I’m now 159.5 lbs while dropping my bodyfat by 1%. I’d call that a successful 28 days. My workouts were focused on areas that needed to be brought up, such as rear delts and my tri’s…but my whole upper arm ending up making the greatest gains. I tried to make my gains as lean as possible by doing 4 days of cardio a week, all on lift days except leg day., for 30 mins. I saw differences in my chest, arms, and back where I leaned out some, but not enough in the stomach. That’s why I’m going to continue doing my cardio, change up the diet where all my carbs will be consumed by 6pm (which won’t be too much), add Animal cuts to the rountine along with protein, and I should be able to lean out quite alright while I’m lifting heavy enough to maintain my muscle. I’ll be posting pics up tomorrow since I have to take them in the morning due to school being so early today. This phase will last the same amount as last time…28 days. Four weeks to kill it in the gym, let it all out with monstrous fire from within making every rep count as the muscles fill with lactic acid, pushing through the pain, making mind win over matter. That’s what matters and that’s what it takes to get where you want to be. Time to do work, time to get lean…
