After taking 5 days off, and doing too much partying over my b-day weekend, I finally got back in the gym yesterday for chest/tri and today for back/bi… I have stopped taking my NO Shotgun to give myself a break from the NO stuff (free radicals)… I’ll start back up after labor day weekend… I also plan to do a 4-week cycle of Anabolic Switch as soon as GNC gets some back in stock (could be up to 1 month though)…
Anyway, I was definitely a bit weaker in the gym from not working out, and also from the lack of NO Shotgun I didn’t get as much of a pump or have as much energy… Plus I’ve been a little sick and taking Benedryl which is basically a sedative/sleeping aid! So I was very lethargic… Nevertheless, I got some good workouts in and I feel like I can be back to my old self in no time…

Did some big incline dumbbell raises today… 70X10, 80X10, 90X5… Great montierth flys and gironda dips… I’m going to start adding weight to the gironda dips soon… Finished off with some skullcrushers and rope pulldowns for the triceps… All in all a great day, I’m starting to feel strong again…

Maybe it’s the few extra pounds I’ve put on, but I felt weak on weighted chins… Still got decent volume… Did 10 reps of 45, 10 reps of 35, and 10 reps of 25… Then about 20 reps of various mixed grips and other pullup variations… Did the usual workout with yates rows, rope pulls, some incline dumbell curls, and even some 1-arm dumbbell rows, but I didn’t feel like I was getting a good workout for some reason… Anyway, today’s my day off, so hopefully I’ll be back in the gym tomorrow feeling strong and light…

Got back in the gym yesterday after a long weekend for my chest/tri day… It was a decent workout, but nothing special… I did many sets of incline barbell bench, slow reps… Then just a few sets of incline presses, low weight, higher reps… Went on to montierth (atrainer) flys but they hurt my shoulder for some reason so I stopped that and did some tricep work, then finished off with gironda dips… I felt very strong on the girondas but my shoulder (right) was still bugging me so I stopped that prematurely as well… I went and did some HS incline presses (2 sets) and then a few dragon flags and called it a day… I’ll be doing back and bis tonight!

15 reps 45lbs weighted in 4 sets, 15 reps 25 weighted in 3 sets, 20 reps bodyweight in 3 sets… 15 reps subscapular slow push backs in 3 sets… 15 reps of mixed grip pullups in 2 sets… Total chins, 80 reps! Then did 3 sets of atrainer cable crunches, 3 sets of Yates rows, 3 sets of cable pulls to the face, and 3 sets of ez-curl barbell curls… Also threw in 5 sets of standing calf raises for fun… Tomorrow is a rest day, although I may do a leg day…

Did all barbell today, no dumbbells… Did some serious negatives of 215 on incline, many reps… Did some serious tricep burnouts on cables, and ended up doing dips at the VERY end of my workout… Felt extra weak by that point but I really hit my pecs and tris hard today… Looking forward to a heavy back/bi day tomorrow!

Had a great chest/tri workout yesterday… Hit a new PR on Gironda dips… Threw in some squats and calf raises for fun at the end of the workout… Have back and bi’s tonight… Going to try for some very heavy reps on weighted chins!

Had a great chest day today, did 5 sets of incline bench, 185X8, felt great… Did machine pullovers, incline db presses, montierth (atrainer) flyes, gironda dips (super slow 1005 tempo), and tricep rope pulldowns… Gonna eat two dinners tonight to celebrate… Hoping for a big back/bi day tomorrow!

Did a lighter than normal weighted chin routine today, but more volume… Also did some weighted pulls for variety… Instead of Yates rows today, I did bent over rows, pulling to the sternum with both pronated and supinated grip… Did spider curls, leg press, calf raise, seated rope pulls to the neck… Decent workout!

Yes, an excellent chest workout… Started with incline bench, had new PR’s across the entire set! Moved to incline db, and it was OK, but I really pushed myself on the barbell so I guess that figures, plus I had no spotter so I wasted strength getting the db’s into position… Did some incline flys, then montierth flys (atrainer flys), then finally 3 sets of 10, 8 and 6 reps of super-slow Gironda dips… Those are what really swole my chest up… Finished with lots of tricep presses and called it a day… Good day back in the gym!
