On the mend… again.
Wednesday, December 12th, 2007Well, it’s been just over three weeks since I injured my right rotator cuff, and I’m about 90% healed, though the doctor said it may take six weeks. I can move my arm pretty normally now; it feels slightly sore in just a few specific positions. I have been working around the injury, concentrating on triceps, back, biceps and shoulder isolation exercises that don’t hurt. Of course, I am still cautious about attempting any 300lb negative benches just yet, but I may try some test benching next week.
The triceps workouts have been awesome. I have never felt such a pump before! My arms feel like they are about to explode, and (according to my trainer) they are "as hard as concrete". I hope that translates into increased strength. We shall see…
