I know this sounds a little corny, but after watching G.I Joe, I realized that I need to get my ass in gear! I’ve wanted to get back to my fit level from my Navy days, and I’ve just been slackin. Nothing seemed to keep my focused. But now I finally see that I’m the only one holding me back. I’m doin new things in the gym too, like tryin out the chains. Puttin them on the bar really does make a difference, and I can feel it right now cause my chest is still on fire! So I’m done slackin, and I will def keep the motivation high , cause I am sick of lookin like I do! It’s not bad, but I know I can look a whole lot better.

I’ve had to take some time away from the gym, and it had it’s ups and downs. I broke my wrist back in 2003, and since then I’ve had some problems with it. It’ll flare up and I won’t be able to really do anything lifting wise with it for about 2 weeks. It sucks. That was the down side to it. The up side is that I looked at the workout routines that I have been doin and realized that I hit a stand still with my progress. I was burned out also. I needed this time off. Even though I don’t like haveing a lot of down time this was what I needed and I’m almost thankful for my wrist being a little bitch hahahaha!

I hate missing work outs, and I especially hate having to "redo" my routine to make up and be even. This sucks because I’m makin progress but not the way I really wanted too. I don’t like to be spuratic with my routines in the gym. The summer heat combined with the heat at work is causing me bad heat exhaustion by the end of the day, and i’m sleepin too long to get to the gym before work. I can’t wait for the fall and winter to get here so I can have enough energy to get back on the path that I want to be on.

So I cut my forearm at work the other day, and it was recommended that I take it easy. So lifting is gettin put on the back burner for a couple days, which sucks cause I had already missed 2 days this week due to being really tired and worn out from the heat. I finally start makin and seein some progress and this had to happen. Oh well I will make the workouts I missed up next week, take some more time off, and start FRESH the week after.

I know that it’s been a while since I put a new pic up and since I’ve updated this page. but since the begining of the summer I’ve been pushing a lot of iron. Stopped using the Bowflex. It was nice, but it just doesn’t replace the great feelin of pushin iron. I’ll try and put new pics up soon and update my stats too.

This cold weather is really gettin on my nerves! I want to go out and run more, but it’s way to damn cold when I wake up at 7:30-8:00 at night. I wish that the summer time would come to I could finally get in some really good cardio

Sometimes I wonder if I should’ve gotten a bowflex. I miss pushing iron at an actual gym sometimes, there is just more workouts to do at a gym. Maybe I should’ve gotten the bigger bowflex instead……oh well.
