Blasting through PR’s
Monday, October 20th, 2008Did Quads / Calves today… Second exercise of the day was narrow stance Decline leg presses. I was very impressed how much my strength went up in only one week!
Here’s a comparision over one week…
Last Week: 880lbs x 8 reps
This Week: 885lbs x 10 reps
At this stage in weight lifting, it is hard to not only go up in weight every week; but to add 25% of the reps over what I did last week with more weight is VERY substancial. This is all natural, too. So those who think you need pro-hormones or steriods to get constant big results, think again. Yes, they will help a ton… But I do all of this with a high calorie diet with just creatine and whey to help get my daily protein needs.
Just thought I’d share the joy! I’m still working towards my goal of weighing over 240lbs before I even consider time off of bulking.
