Did 3 different main exercises today for hammies and quads, all consisting of 4 drop sets.
The 4 were…
Narrow Leg Press | | Leg Curl Machine | | 1 Leg Squats (under guided BB)
All 3 exercises started at a weight I could do about 12 times. I went to failure and immediately took off a certain amount of weight and went to failure again with no break. Did this a total of four times on each exercise.
*I did calves after all of this, also working in a 4-teir drop set on the standing calf raise for a real burn and pump Afterwards, I did a cooldown set on the Leg Extension machine and also on the standing leg curl machine.
I am going to my grandmother’s funeral wednesday so I will be out of town for 2 days with no lifting ;( Look forward to hearing from you all on thursday!

Today was the first day of the second week on my current high rep/ no breaks routine. My Grandmother passed away this morning and figured it’d only be right to dedicate this week’s workouts for her, bless her heart. She was a great woman that raised 7 fine young children (including my father ) and deserves recognition.
I did arms and abs today and since I really am not trying to progress in numbers, just get a good hard workout in; I didn’t keep track of weight or anything. The workout went really well, though, and I’m sure G’ma would be proud

Today I did a very good shoulder workout… I don’t have time to post up what I did, but it was good… I was going to post some update pictures, but without proper lighting / me being horribly white / camera being gay, I decided to wait until I get some more tan and find a better lighting spot to take pictures. They’ll be up within the month hopefully.

Today was my first day doing back on the new routine… I decided to throw in some calf work since it has been a few days since I did legs. It was the same scheme as with my other body parts… I started with semi-heavy weight I could do 10-12 times, and then I dropped the weight down some, did another set without break, and so on and so forth.. Did this for about 4 drop sets per exercise.
I did these exercises with drop sets…
Chest-Supported Rows | | Narrow-Grip Pullups | | Straight-Legged Deadlifts | | Narrow-Grip Cable Pulldowns | | 1-Arm DB Rows
The workout felt amazing and I had a great pump going on And I’m becoming sore after each workout, so something must be going well!

Beautiful day out finally, for once. And I just spent part of it in the gym doing my chest / ab workout. As with the rest of this week, I did high rep, no rest drop sets on every exercise for a nice big pump and to reduce time in the gym for the week.
I started off with a drop set of Flat DB Bench Press with 70lb DB’s and did roughly 20 repetitions of that weight with perfect form. I took 10 seconds of break and went down to 60’s til failure. Then 10 more seconds.. 50’s / 35’s / 25’s. I did as many as I could until my form was compromised.
Second was EXACT same as flat bench except I did Incline DB Press. started with 60’s in each hand and went down from there.
Third was Decline DB Press, respectively. I started with 65’s and went down from there to 20’s.
Lastly, I did upper flies / lower flies with cables on each side. Did the same principle as the above exercises.
* I then proceeded to do some abdominal work and worked my rotator cuffs. Since, for those of you who follow, know that I have a problem with weak right rotators. Which is hindering my chest progress.
I closed out the workout with machine flies and did a lot of reps for a full complete burnout Tomorrow is Back!

Idk if it’s the new, high endurance, no break routine that is tiring me out so fast, or if it’s the 5 days off of lifting and my muscles not used to getting rocked thats the issue. Either way, I did an hour of legs and I was spent.
All I did was 5 drop sets on 4 different exercises… By the time I got to calves, I was spent and had no energy. I did manage to do 6 or so calf sets, but for my calves that’s not nearly enough.
I did…
Leg Press (narrow) with 6 plates on each side until failure (15 reps of slow full contracted motion) and then stripped a plate off of each side until I was down to one plate.
Leg Curl machine with starting like 230lbs and kept going down 30lbs without a break until I got to 70lbs and it was too easy.
Leg Extension machine with 190 starting. went down by 30lbs per set with no rest between until I got to 30lbs.
Lastly, did 2 sets of walking lunges with 40’s in each hand. I could have pushed harder on these, but I was just exhausted by the time I got to these. I did roughly 15 reps per leg per set.

Today was my first day back after coming down with the flu tuesday. I decided that for the next couple of weeks, I’m going to be doing high endurance, high rep training, with low weight. I did arms today, and I can say that it was one of the most exhilerating workouts I’ve done in a while!
I basically did 3 different exercises for each body part ( tris and bis ) and did drop sets for every exercise. Did about 5-6 drop sets per exercise. Numbers arent really important here. THE IMPORTANT thing is that I had no strength left by the end of my workout and 20lb DB’s felt heavy to me. And this is only after an hour of lifting.
I also did some abdominal work in there to spice it up
Tomorrow will be legs I believe. I’m pumped!

Just so everyone knows… I did do my shoulder workout yesterday… I would write it up in here, but at 6 am this morning, I got suddenly ill and started puking/have diarhea… I have been sick all day and JUST NOW got my first liquids other than water in… With all the puking ( 15 times ), my body is going to take a few days to recover. I can barely hold myself up at the moment… I’m lucky I made it to the computer.. I will be back asap though… THanks for reading up.

Just an update for the day… I was supposed to do shoulders, but after working 14 out of the last 30 hours I’ve been through, I feel sluggish and weak beccause I only got to eat once in an 8 hour period , and once in a 6 hour period.. It tends to wear my body down when I can’t constantly feed it.
I will be doing shoulders tomorrow after classes in the morning…stay tuned

Today was my first day of legs on the new routine… I didn’t push it all out because I had limited time, but for the first time doing this workout, I felt AMAZING! Here are the numbers!
Like every workout, I did everything with slow controlled reps and never stopped after any rep. Kept continuous tension on the muscles throughout.
Warm up= Leg Extensions= 150lbs for 2 sets of 24 reps ( 12 narrow and 12 wide )
Working Sets=
Leg Press= 770lbs x 2 sets x 10/10 reps (with feet together, working on outer quad sweep!) Was surprisingly easy!
Guided 1 Leg Squats/Lunge= 145lbs x 2 sets x 10reps per leg on each set. Very slow. Very good burn.
Walking Lunges= 50 per arm x 2 sets x 12/11 reps ( wasn’t too bad, going up next week )
Leg Curl Machine= 230?? (forgot to write down weight) x 2 sets x 10 reps
~~ Also did various standing and sitting calf exercises… I didnt have enough time to do everything I wanted, but got a good burn in them and what not.
**Overall, I had a VERY good burn and pump in my legs throughout the entire workout! Can’t wait to see how this workout progresses over the next couple of weeks
