So today was the beginning of my new workout. Today’s exercises were Squats, Deadlifts, and various calf stuff that I do. I noticed my ego had been taking over on deadlifts so I lowered the weight substancially today so I could get absolute perfect form and really feel the stretch in my hammies instead of using my back.
Squats: 5 sets of 5 reps @ 345lbs (1 rep from failure)
Deadlifts(mostly str. leg): 5 sets of 5-6 reps at 225lbs (wasn’t necessarily close to failure, but form was good and got a good stretch)
Calves……
1 Legged straight leg calf raises ( did 4 sets with each leg w/ 45lb plate ) 10 reps each set
1 Legged bent-leg calf raises ( 4 sets w/ 45lb plate ) 10 reps each set
Freemotion calf machine: alternated between bent knee and locked out knee for 6 sets for 10 reps
