I’m leaving friday for a vacation until next weekend! Should be a very welcome break for my body to rebuild itself, and I will be MORE than ready to come back into the weight room the day I get back and pound out some nice intensity when I start my NEW routine! (Under workout section in minor detail.)
I hope everyone has a GREAT week and continued success in their training!
And remember kids… Friends don’t let friends lift light weight!

Did other half of leg day today with some abs in there .. went pretty well.. Did stiff legged deadlifts for 3 sets at 335 lbs, at 8 reps per set. felt pretty easy.. I coulda done a lot more, but I wanted to get form down first because I’ve never actually done str. leg deadlifts. 335 is a good starting point Other than that I did some leg curls and isolation bend over’s with a 35lb plate. Tomorrow will be arms if my forearms don’t hurt too much.. .Today they’re pretty sore.

So.. went in to do legs today and I left my workout half way through because I was gagging (almost puking) and couldn’t hold it in after about 5 sets of hardddddcore bb squats/sled squats and a set of lunges. Guess I’m going to have to do Calves/more hammies tomorrow with abs or something.

I think I’m going to take update pictures within the month again… I’ve gained a lot of tan, which should help show my definition a lot more than the pictures I currently have on the space. I am going on vaca for 10 days coming this friday, it should be a nice rest for my body to recover. After that I’m starting a "tri-phase" routine I read about, and it looks pretty well planned out… I’ll be posting daily updates when I do start that routine. As for a date on the update pics… plan on sometime early/mid July.. Keep reading!

So I went in today to do back and biceps and I do machine rows first with 275lbs and it feels just fine… then all the sudden I do EZ-curl standing curls and my forearms start getting sharp pains through them.. and I still have them as I’m typing right now.. My forearms have been hurting off and on for about 3 weeks since I did a hardcore bicep/tricep workout..
Should I just wrap my forearms now? ( lol! ) every time I’m doing back/biceps and everything else that uses forearms? I have no idea what to do here, and I really don’t want to impede my progress and have to take 2-4 weeks off when it may just come back again.. any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Haven’t done chest in two weeks due to vaca and routine change up so when I went in today to do chest/triceps I was a bit dissapointed.. My numbers (reps) dropped slightly.. nothing huge to worry about for the normal person, but to me, it was something… I’m sure next week I’ll jump right back up and not have a problem with it, though.. tomorrow is leg day, So I’m anxious for that to come. Hope everyone is doing well in their training.

Wanted to do both chest and back today before I went on vaca since it’s been almost 2 weeks since I did either due to doing biceps and triceps on solo days instead of with back and chest, Buttttt my shoulders were still weak from 2 days ago and I was forced to just do Back muscles today… Got some good Row and deadlift numbers in so that was good. This will be a good few day break.. and after I come back I’m starting a new routine so I’m pumped for that. Have a good weekend everyone. -Brian

Arms are a bit sore from whatever still so I’m taking today off of lifting and going on a 20 mile bike ride with some friends or something like that lol.. 2morrow will be a back/chest day of heavy lifting before I head on vacation! Woo

Went in to do Delts/Traps today… and I noticed my forearms were still hurting from triceps 4 days ago… that’s not normal pain from rebuilding muscle either.. Reguardless, I pushed through my workout because I’m going on vaca this weekend and I didn’t want to miss a day of lifting before I left… My numbers were all great… even when I had a sharp pain in my left middle/posterior delt half way through the workout… Not a good day for a good feeling but I pushed through and got a new P.R…. ————> Barbell Shoulder Press (on machine BB): 280lbs @ 5/4/4 reps in 3 sets
Tomorrow will be debatable… I’m doing Back if my forearms permit. Peace, Brian

This is why I love to lift weights…
A guy waves me over to the bar at work tonight and asks "man you look good, you lift weights?" I laughed and said, "no, this is all natural." and of course we both laughed and joked around for a bit and he went on for like 5 minutes praising me and telling me how awesome it is that I keep in good shape and with how "big" I am.. I live for comments like this… it’s stuff like this that adds on to the list of why being healthy and built is great
