Ap/Torrent Day 12 ish.

So today was Chest/Triceps… Didn’t lift for 3 days due to lack of gym being open, so I was fresh and ready to go… The workout was as follows.  .5 means I had help on the last rep and went to failure ( which i do on most exercises )

                      
     Numbers go weight first then number of sets then number of reps per set.. the line up was all messed up so sorry if its hard to read.

Flat BB Bench Press:  295lbs                   
   3                6.5/4.5/3.5                3 min breaks

Weighted Dips: body + 125lbs                   
2                    6/5                       2.75m break

Inc. BB Bench Press: 230lbs                   
    3                3.5/3.5/2.5                3m break

Decline BB Bench:    235lbs                   
     2                 8.5/6.5                     3m break

EZ-Curl Close Grip: 240lbs                   
      1                     3                    

French Curl Slow:    95lbs                   Â
 Â Â Â Â Â Â  2                  13/10.5                    2m break

Cable Chest Fly:  95lbs per arm                   2                 9.5/7.5                    Â
 Â  2m break

Rope Pushdown Superset (Did full set of hands close, then dropped weight and did set where I flared the rope outward at the bottom.)   ** 200lbs/85lbs **               2×2    Â
 Â Â Â Â (5.5/8)(5.5/7.5)              2m break

Machine Chest Fly: 215lbs                   
        2                   12.5/10.5                  2m break

 

Conclusion:  No crazy pumps, muscles definitely looked full and were hydrated/pumped, but STILL no rock hard feeling like I usually get… I’m pretty much certain I won’t get a full pump from this product and I’m much better off sticking to powders rather than pills when it comes to N.O. products.  Lots of energy for lifting though as usual.

    OK, I wasn’t going to say anything but..

    Could the lack of rock hard crazy pumps be due to your relavtively low volume (reps of 3 to8)? I’d be happier and sleep better if I saw you do 10s.

    Pills are for trailer park rubbish.. stick to powders :)

    Yeah, It would help if I had more high rep exercises in there, but I’m not on the portion of my workout right now. I have 1-2 more weeks of low rep exercises before I go back up to the 8-12 rep range. Maybe it’ll change then, who knows :)
