Today is my day off to relax ;) Going to do Back/Biceps on friday and Gotta take saturday off because I work all day :( so sunday will be my delt/trap day.  ***ALSO!! I will most likely be taking updated pictures after tomorrow’s workout sometime… check in tomorrow afternoon.

Today= Legs

Standard Squats: 360lbs x 3sets x 4/3/3 reps

Incline Squat Mach: 780lbs x 2sets x 7/5 reps

Lunges: 80lb DB’s x 2sets x 8/8 reps

Superset Leg Curl/Ham bend-overs: (305lbs/bodyweight +25lbs) x 2sets x 8/8 and 12/12 reps

Abduction: 175lbs x 1set x 12reps  (easy)

Adduction: 175lbs x 1set x 15reps (also easy)

Glute/ham machine: 100 x 1set x 15reps (also also easy haha)

Lastly… the killer calves…

Standing Calf Raises: 215lbs x 5sets x 10-12 reps each set

Seated Calf Raises(on Squat machine): 250/150/50lbs (20reps/30reps/40reps no breaks)

Freemotion Machine Calves: 340/240/140 (20reps/30reps/40reps also no break in-between)

 

Tons of energy, and my calves were pretty much exploding with blood.  I couldn’t contract them anymore by the time I was done training them.  I still can’t while I type this.  Veins were popping out all over my calves and lower legs, it was pretty sweet :)   Hopefully I pushed myself hard enough today to keep triggering my leg growth that I so badly need!

So today was Chest/Triceps… Didn’t lift for 3 days due to lack of gym being open, so I was fresh and ready to go… The workout was as follows.  .5 means I had help on the last rep and went to failure ( which i do on most exercises )

                      
     Numbers go weight first then number of sets then number of reps per set.. the line up was all messed up so sorry if its hard to read.

Flat BB Bench Press:  295lbs                   
   3                6.5/4.5/3.5                3 min breaks

Weighted Dips: body + 125lbs                   
2                    6/5                       2.75m break

Inc. BB Bench Press: 230lbs                   
    3                3.5/3.5/2.5                3m break

Decline BB Bench:    235lbs                   
     2                 8.5/6.5                     3m break

EZ-Curl Close Grip: 240lbs                   
      1                     3                    

French Curl Slow:    95lbs                   Â

Cable Chest Fly:  95lbs per arm                   2                 9.5/7.5                    Â

Rope Pushdown Superset (Did full set of hands close, then dropped weight and did set where I flared the rope outward at the bottom.)   ** 200lbs/85lbs **               2×2    Â

Machine Chest Fly: 215lbs

Conclusion:  No crazy pumps, muscles definitely looked full and were hydrated/pumped, but STILL no rock hard feeling like I usually get… I’m pretty much certain I won’t get a full pump from this product and I’m much better off sticking to powders rather than pills when it comes to N.O. products.  Lots of energy for lifting though as usual.

I guess since it’s memorial weekend, my gym doesnt wanna be open very long… so I went on a 20 mile bike ride instead today .. and 2morrow the place is closed, so I will be doing my next lifting day on tuesday.

Yesterday was an off day for me since I worked a volume and had no time nor energy to lift since i worked all day long.  Today will officially be day 10 for me so I will be doing chest and triceps with my new and IMPROVED dip belt cuz the other parts sucked on it.  It should be fun! AP/Torrent Day 8

Body parts: Delts/Traps

Barbell Delt Press(on guided machine): 275lbs x 3sets x 3reps (2.5reps on last set)

Arnold Delt Press: 65lb DB’s x 2sets x 8reps

Shrugs (BB behind me)**NO straps**: 245lbs x 3sets x 12reps

Front Shrugs (w/straps): 385lbs x 3sets x 8reps

Lateral Raises: 35lb DB’s x 2sets x 8reps

Machine Press: 215lbs x 2sets x 12reps

Declining Pyramid Shrugs(NO straps): No rests between weight changes… 295/245/195/145/95 reps: 8/8/8/10/12

 

Conclusion: Workout Intensity was good, no huge pumps felt, which I usually don’t during delts/traps… Doing Chest/Tricep on sunday, so if I dont have any good pumps by then I’ll know this product really doesn’t work for me in reguards to pumps… but as for volumizing and energy, it works great for me.  Most likely switching to Shock Therapy to see if powder works better.

Just wanted to tell you guys that once June rolls around, I will be taking progress pictures.. I wish I woulda taken more before pictures of my legs to show how much progress i’ve made in them(its a lot).  So just look forward to a lot of newer pics in a week or so :)   -Brian

Animal Pump Day 7

Today is my off day since I work tonight and My entire back / legs are shot.  Didn’t get around to doing yesterday’s log either.  Did biceps and back yesterday and I really did not get any huge pumps… I’m not doing anything wrong in reguards to eating too much before i take it or not taking it at the right time.  I love how my muscles feel full, the creatine portion is working well.. and my strength is great, just missing those awesome pumps I love.  Which is why after this can is done (If anything changes in reguards to pumps, I’ll say before then) I’m going to switch to the powder form and see if Shock Therapy works better than pump.    But I have always had good results with powdered forms of supplements, so I’m anxious to see if it works better than the pills.  As for Torrent, it seems to be doing its job well.

AP/Torrent Day 5 now? lol- Leg day

So yeah, did legs today… Good thing, cuz I’ve been tryin to pound them hard the last couple of months to catch them up to my upper body.  (Due to lots of soccer in highschool/busy last year, I was unable to train legs much at all.)  But the last couple of months have been great.  I didn’t fail on most of my exercises, I shoulda pushed myself harder.. but the workout was still great and I’m improving still.  I didn’t get much of a pump because most of my exercises were low rep… but my calf muscle fibers were busting out of my legs.  Heres what I did.

Normal Squats deep:  355lbs x 3reps x 3sets (coulda pushed one more rep out but I wanted perfect form)

Decline Machine Squats: 775lbs x 3reps x 3sets (same here, prolly coulda got 4 reps out)

Lunges: 80lb DB’s in each hand x 8reps x 2sets

Leg Curl/Bend over’s( dont know the name exactly ) **superset** Leg curl: 285lbs x 5reps x 2sets Bend overs: 10 reps with 25lb plate by my head (slow controlled movement)

Did one set of each of the 3 following to just help build shape:  1.Glute/ham curl 2.Abduction 3.Adduction

lastly… did calves… 

Standing Calf Raise (full contraction of course): 215lbs x 10reps x 5sets

Sitting Calf Raise (On machine squat): 20reps@250/30reps@150/40reps@70lbs NO break inbetween those 3.

Free Motion machine calves: 20reps@320/30reps@220/40reps@120 

Last set was Freemotion narrow squats to get the blood flowing back into my upper legs.   did 30 reps.

 Conclusion: Legs were very swole the entire time, which is good… No muscle hardness really because of light reps cept in calves, but still swole.  It was a great workout and I had a TON of energy :)   Keep readin and stayin tuned! -Bri

Ap/Torrent Day 4 off

Today is my first day off of lifting since I started the combo… I had a hard workout yesterday and started soccer again , so my entire body is pretty much sore… and since I want to hit legs VERY hard, I’m going to wait til tuesday to do legs.  That gives Animal Pump one more day to fully kick in before I hit the weights like a crazy @SS motha trucka.  -Bri
