3 Day Training split disaster

The 3 day split didn’t work for me at all.  I did get a little stronger, but at the price of a lot more body fat.
It is not like I recover faster than the next average Joe, but I do seem to put on fat very easily.  Training only 3 times a week was not enough to keep me gaining LEAN mass.  I am switching to a modified DC training program and keeping up with some moderate post workout cardio.

3-day Training Split

I am starting a 3-day, full body, training split as-per the Frequency stage of "The Beast’s" Tri-phase training e-book.  I am a little skeptical, because I am used to a 3day-on, 1day-off system, but I believe I was over training. I guess I’ll see how this goes for a month.
