So apparently, I’ve been getting some feedback from some people think that I’m on roids or that I couldn’t have done this in so short a time or that I’m lying or something! I know that there’s always gonna be haters out there and I don’t really care too much cuz I know the truth! And there probably are alot of people on here that do that stuff (roids, lie, etc.) But let me assure everyone, that what you see is what you get here. All of the pics on my profile are of me and the time that it took me to reach where I am today is completely accurate! I actually reached my main goal within 4 months of working out. I went from 286 to 245 in 4 months. That’s about 10 lbs a month which is completely possible if people only learned to stick to their program and eat clean. There’s not alot of rocket science going on here! I think most peoples problem is that they are not able to stay consistent which may or may not be their fault.
Maybe if I explained my situation better people would see why I was able to transform the way I did. I live behind a gym that I get to go to for free because the gym has a deal with my apartment complex. Therefore I have no excuse not to be in shape! Also, I am currently unemployed and have just been doing odd end jobs until I can find something permanent. So I’m in no position to afford any kind of steriods when I can barely afford groceries! Fortunately, this also allowed me to lose the weight I wanted with surprisingly not much muscle loss. Not having money to spend on junk food allowed me to consider healthier choices that were inexpensive. It’s really not that hard! I’m not trying to sound conceited but I honestly believe that if someone wanted the gains and transformation that i’ve had, they can do it! But it just takes some discipline and consistency! Obviously it’s easier said than done but hey, you are always going to put more time and effort into where ever your priorities lie right? So there you go! If working out isn’t a big deal to you, then it’s gonna be lower on your priority list. Nothing wrong with that but I’m just saying don’t hate on people who are putting in the time for something they see as a higher priority than you do.
That’s all I got, just wanted to vent a little…For you people out there who have supported me and encouraged me from the beginning, I’m very appreciative of it and I don’t take it lightly…Thank you so much, it’s people like you and this website that has motivated me and helped me get to where I am now. For everyone else, I’m considering posting some before and after face shots of how I looked to further convince those unbelieving souls…

For anyone reading this, I am on a roll and feeling awesome! Not only have I accomplished what I’ve set out to do but I’ve surpassed my expectations. Next week will begin my 5th month of diet and exercise. Since the last week of November ‘07 I’ve been working out 4 times a week and since then I have not missed one day! I’m so excited and I believe the results are clearly showing for themselves. Aside from the occasional soreness, I feel more energetic than I have in a long time. I’m more positive and my self-esteem has gone up. I’m truely reaping what I have sown. I’ve also lost 7 inches off my waist going down from a size 45 to a 38. ALL of my pants are too big for me, which is a great problem to have! My bodyfat % has gone down from over 23% to just above 17%! And also I’ve now lost 40 pounds since I’ve begun! Thats 10 lbs a month! I’m so pumped up about all of this! One of my next big goals is to try to lose bodyfat but maintain around the same weight. I think from this point on, however, that trying to lose more bodyfat is going to get harder, but I’m up to that challenge. I’ve still got a ways to go but I’m much closer to where I want to be.

Coming up next week I’ll be starting my 4th month of strict diet and exercise! I can really see that it’s paying off now. Although I didn’t meet my weight goal, I still have lost a total of 27 lbs since I started at the end of November. For the next 4 weeks I’m going to buckle down and increase the intensity of my workouts to reach the rest of my goals. I switched up some of the exercises on my splits for variety and have increase my cardio activity. I’m pumped about reaching new levels and setting new goals!

After this week, I’ll be finished my 3rd straight month of working out consistently at 4 times a week. That’s quite a big accomplishment for me as it’s the most consistent I’ve ever been at working outaside from when I was playing football.

I’m pretty excited about this weekend because on Saturday I’m gonna be maxing out for the first time in a long time. This will show the fruits of my labor for the past month and help me determine what steps I need to take next for the following month.

Finished with my 3rd week of workouts. I’m starting to see and feel a change and it’s great! I’ve posted all of my workouts that i’ve done so far. I don’t put down everything in the workout tracker though. Just what weights i’ve lifted. But I also do abs 4-5 times a week, and i’m also running 4 times a week. The running part is tough cuz I hate running sooooo much. But it’s a necessary evil. I’ve been losing so weight so far and i’m on my way to meeting my goals. But i know that it can’t be met with just lifting weights alone, which is why i have to run. It’s also needed if i ever want to have any kind of six pack. lol…
