After weight training so late last night, cardio was out of the question this morning, I was too tired. I went to work & planned to go afterwards but my sis-n-law wanted her hair done. Her daughter had just had a baby so after finishing her hair I couldn’t resist getting my paws on the baby & adding some extra spoiling to her. She is an absolute doll with the biggest dimples I’ve ever seen & so tiny. Well don’t even say it, NO I do not want another one, mine is 13 & I will not start over & ruin this figure lol. OK back to the workout plans, well point blank I didn’t today either. I finally got home, cleaned up my house, cooked some tilapia, scallops, & veggies. I must say my diet was great today besides a bitefull of hot tamales candy. I have to work in the morning & I’m going to rest my muscles & seriously do some cardio first thing in the morning. Later BS

Well I’ve decided to blog my workout & non workout activities daily, hopefully it will help keep me consistent. Thanks Joonjla & MakingAChange for all the helpful advice. I am now on the cardio race to burn fat. I will continue my weight training for toning but I have come to realize that it is no way in getting over on having to do cardio. What is the use of muscles with fat on top. Today was better, I did pack my lunch for work. I ate
1/2 cup of oatmeal with blueberries,
protein shake….1 scoop
Salmon salad/just like tuna salad less the fattening mayo in a whole wheat pita bread
protein shake…..1 scoop
natural peanut butter & celery
protein shake……1 scoop
I came home & did P90X back & biceps and afterwards only 15 minutes on the elliptical…..I tried more cardio but I was soooo tired. I will try again in the morning with a burst of cardio 1st thing and cardio in the evening. My goal is 5 days a week up to 45 minutes a day. The weight training is better I’m more focused and devoted to that. As the old saying goes if at 1st you don’t succeed, try, try, again! Better Luck 2morrow….Goodnight BS!

I’m in my 7th week of the P90X program & the exercises have become much more difficult. I expected harder workouts but my new job, which I love, has me sooooo tired. Today I didn’t even have a lunch break, mainly my fault since I scheduleded all my clients back to back. I was doing well with cooking the night before and fixing my meals ahead of time. Last night I was to tired to do anything and when the morning arrived I had missed my workout time, was running late & didn’t have time to fix anything, so I am completely off schedule. I just tried to do pylometrics but after I put the dvd in, I did a few minutes and turned it off. I just am lacking any kind of motivation or desire to do it, this would make the 2nd day in a row that I have missed. I feel really bad about it but I’m worn out. I hope that this does not mess up my results. Im going to try now to peice together some meals and head to bed, then try to get up at 6 for cardio & do backs & biceps for my evening exercises. I am toning up nicely, as well, but my stomach either seem always bloated or the fat is just sitting there. Do anyone have any suggestions on blasting the fat in that area? I do realize I need more cardio in my life, my biggest obstacle to date.

Well this week is my rest week…. don’t panic Im not actually resting. This week so far has actually been harder than the others. I’m doing muscle confusion so my body won’t plateau. My routine is mostly cardio, which includes sprinting on the track & kenpo. Also I’m doing core work which I never realized was so difficult. I will never again make fun of anyone I see doing planks & think that it’s a waste of time to stay in one position for a few seconds. Why do I hate cardio so much, is it just me! I have to really push myself to get through this week, I can go to the gym & hit the weights so much easier than the treadmill or elliptical machine. I do love the track though, I was out there yesterday and the kids were praticing for summer track & it reminded me of my old school days. I felt like a tortoise sprinting with a rabbit out there….. those kids were running like they enjoyed it…. lol Guess I’ll have to step my game up…can’t be looking like a granny out there. I know I complain a lot about my thighs but it’s just that jiggle in the inner thigh that makes me go ugggghh. I can say that when I get that fat burned off & my muscles more developed I will have some gorgeous thighs…..does that sound conceited? Who cares…I’m confident about it. Well have a good week everyone.

I’m losing weight…Yeah is what most will say but I say Noooo! I do need to lose body fat though. I’m taking the necessary steps to do that, yet, I’m feeling lik the skinny fat chick again & ladies you know what I means. You have a smaller body but everything is loose & jiggly. It has only been three weeks since I’ve began working out, so maybe this phase will go away. With the P90X workout, I’ve incorporated weights, as well as eating clean & bumped up the cardio but the skinny fat chick is back. I might be doing this all wrong or am I just paranoid. I still have a lot of questions & with so many different articles to read now I’m a little confused. When does muscle definition begin to show? Should I lift heavier with shorter reps or lighter with higher reps? Will the skinny fat chick syndrome go away? Can the skin begin to look firmer? Can I stop the thighs from sagging? How much protein or carbs should I eat? What is the 40, 30, 30? What in the blank am I doing? I’m so frustrated, confused & tired from the lack of sleep! The moody skinny fat chick is here & she is lacking motivation today! uggggh!!!! Help Please (

I’ve been doing pretty well with eating clean & my workouts. Im doing more cardio along with my weight training to lose the fat but now I can’t sleep. As we all know, along with clean eating & exercise that sleeping is a must to get the best results but it’s just not happening. This is mainly due to the black cup of caffinated coffee I sip each morning. I’m not a regular coffe drinker but I did not want to add any other fat burners. The coffee does give me the extra hmmph I need to get through my workouts. Here comes the dilemma, I can’t sleep but without the coffee I have no energy to workout. This is so frustrating and I am some restless. Do anyone have any ideas to getting the rest needed to recuperate.

Hey guys, Im am so serious about this transformation. Im in my cutting phase now and Im not feeling as bulky as I did a few days ago. I see that a lot of people use fat burners so I went to GNC today and was going to get some Lipo 6 for her. The sales guy told me Fasten work just as well but advise that doing this stage I shouldn’t use a fat burner. Im a little confused, what do you think should I or shouldn’t I and what is the best fat burner without the jitters?

Hello Bodyspace community, I Thank You All for embracing me into your space. It’s so amazing to have received nothing but positive feedback so far & in some way or the other you all are an inspiration to me. I’m so hyped to see with just a little dedication how you can transform your body, that inspires me to get up everyday and push myself to the limit. I use to think that only people with good genetics could look fit, toned and muscular but I see that most have started off just like me…normal. I see the mommies on here doing it, the full timers finding time to get fit, those of us that has always been overweight turning fat into muscle or just those who have always been and just want to remain fit. Now it’s time to get off my wide load and make some changes. I want to feel good inside and out. I’ve been small but still fat, jiggly and untoned. This is a lifestyle change for me, not a summer thing and trying to fit in a bikini. I want my 13 year old to say that her mommie is fit and that is the lifestyle that she desires as well. I have been doing a lot of research, I have began to eat clean. I have started P90X along with additional weight training in the gym. I would like some feedback if you all can. I’m trying a cutting meal plan, now I know that the added fiber and protein suppose to make me full fuller faster, plus I’m eating 5 to 6 times a day clean but I feel like I’m getting bulkier instead of leaner. I’ve read different articles, some say that you should only eat 500 to 600 calories a day some says up to 1600 just clean, I am a little confused. I don’t want to get bulky so do I need to cut down on the meals or will I eventually start shedding the fat? I am also doing cardio, pylometrics, sprinting on the treadmill along with weight training and abs. Thanks for any suggestions.
