Ooooooo I’m envious!! I went there 10 years ago in highschool. They actually let you take pictures in Versille? We weren’t allowed. Did you go on a tour or something? I want to know how you got to Marie Antionette’s house. lol

I think they just stop trying to tell everyone no pictures. I went on a Sunday and it was FULL of people. Every now and then someone will say "no flash" but who listened? Nobody ever said anything to me about not taking pictures. Lots of cameras were in that place. The tour is self guided you just walked from room to room. We had an audio guide to tell us about pieces in the palace. Marie’s house is actually on the grounds of Versailles. They had golf carts we rented for 30 euros for the first hour and them 7.5 euros for each 15 minutes afterwards. We had a big bill LOL. Ain’t no way we could have walked to her houses. Dang that was a lot of acres on that property. We happily drove around the property by the golf cart.

If I went to Paris. I’d totally want to see where the musketeers trained.

When I went it was a paid tour with my school. So they chose which rooms you could go it etc. but I wondered how everyone else could go through the secret passage ways and not us. lol I’m so bummed now that I didn’t get to see more!!! Darn it, I’ll have to go again. lol

Thank you for sharing your photos. Very Cool. We went with a tour back in the 80’s, but we broke off after the first day and met back up when it was time to go home. Had a great time.
