Well, next week I will be attending the 2009 Mr. Olympia contest. I will be there for the expo all day on sat. and then go to the finals Sat. evening. If anybody is going, please say "what’s up" if you notice me there. I will try and say hello to as many bodyspace members as I can. I love networking through this website and meeting people who share the same fitness oriented goals as me. Anyways thanks and have a great week!!

I just attended San Diego’s 3rd annual 619 muscle parking lot event at the World Gym parking lot. Man I LOVE THIS EVENT!! The event is free and I must have walked away with like 100-150 dollars free supplements, shakers, and shirts. Also, I got to meet Jay Cutler (for the 3rd time), Brandon Curry (for the 3rd time), Troy Alves, Silvio Samuel, Gina Allioti, Marzia Prince, and many more. This event is spectacular!!!! I cannot wait until next years.

Man, I am still upset over my last workout. So it goes like this…….
I got out of class late tonight at 10 PM. Well, no big deal cuz I know that there is a Marine base close by where the gym is open until 1 in the morning. So I down half a pot of coffee to wake up and get amped up and down my pre-workout protein shake. As I approach the guard station to get onto the base they tell me that I was chosen for a random vehicle inspection and that I have to pull over and let them search my car. I am already thinking how this is going to delay my workout, but…. no big deal right. Well, they give me the third degree and search every ounce of my car like they are expecting to find alcohol, drugs, or maybe weapons of mass destruction and can’t find anything (that’s because there wasn’t anything). So now I have been sitting for like 1/2 an hour, and the timing on my preworkout shake and caffeine is all off now and I’ve probably already digested the majority of the whey. To make matters worse they tell me that I have to enter their little guard shack so they can write me a traffic ticket because the front license plate is missing. They keep asking me why I didn’t have the front plate on (like I am some kinda bank robber) and I keep telling them that it is a piece of crap car, and I think it fell off a long time ago (the screws probably rusted off). Anyways, they keep arguing with me like I purposely did not place my front plate on my car.
So, finally after a long delay I get to the gym only to have a crappy workout (the caffeine has all but wore off and I am still fuming over the harrassment over a missing front license plate). Well, I finished the workout anyways, because one thing I have learned in the fitness community is that you finish your workout whether you are puking, hung over, girlfriend/wife broke up with you, or whatever.
Oh well, there’s always tomorrow for that really killer workout. Later.

I think I am about to place an order with ***********.com for 50 lbs. of whey protein. I placed the same order a few months ago and I am almost out. 50 lbs. for $189.00 is an extremely good deal. It breaks down to $3.80 a pound. Yay for protein!!

Well, I just finished my math midterm 2 hours early, so I guess that means that I have an opportunity to go put in an extra leg workout!!!! My leg workouts are a love/hate relationship. I love hitting the squats or leg pressing 700 lbs. because it works my entire body, but man is it grueling. I’m taking this extra time as an opportunity to bring up one of my most lagging body parts (my quads). No more half motivated leg workouts. I’m going balls to the wall. I want to develop true WHEELZ OF STEEL!!!!! Yeah BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
