Don’t know what is it. Had the flu a couple of months ago, yesterday had some of the symptoms. Missed working yesterday and not going today, trying to rest. Workouts have been going great, sore everyday. Losing weight while getting stronger, so Im not complaining too much. Getting this diet thing down somewhat. Need to learn to rest more, some people think that my lack of rest could have contributed to me getting sick, they may be right, may be wrong.

Currently doing supersets. My older brother talked me into it. He has been doing it and has had alot of success with it. To those that superset, when is the best time to do cardio. For me it seems to be before, especially since I run, roughly 30 min before working out. I tried to run afterwards and thats not an option. I have however been successful with the elliptical and bike after working out supersets for my cardio. My delimma is I would rather run but I would have to do it first but everything I have read says that cardio after weights burns more fat which is my goal.

OK, I know that the numbers on the scale are not the be all end all, but come on. U think you do everything right, prepare your food for the next day, hit the gym hard, rest properly, but the scale doesnt want to get right. There is no doubt change, clothes fit better, running faster and longer, even feel better. I think I will throw these space age scales out and get me an old fashion one with just the numbers. The one I got has all these features, like body fat %. Got the % checked professionally and get this it was 10% lower than the scale WTF. Cool Im good now, this was just another hurdle.

Do you all, the faithful out there, enjoy a cheat meal once a week or cheat day. I notice that on my off/cheat day when I let my focus down a bit the flood gates want to open. If I give in to the cravens too much I end up feeling like I have trashed my efforts. Common sense would say stop before you get to too much but its not clear in that moment.

I was just talking last week about not getting sick. Well I seems that all that is changing. Got the sore throat so far. I have a question for the gym faithful. What do you do when u are sick. Im wrestling with my desire to train and my wanting to NOT make anyone else sick.

Birthdays, interesting. Today is mine and in anticipation of what all may happen I am making sure to hit the gym for if nothing else a little damage control. Talk to my older brother ( only by a year) last night and he has lost like twenty pounds since like July and will be home in two weeks, great motivation. Lately I have learned some fundamental lesson, albeit the hard way, about the weight. I am sacrificing weight for form and reps and noticing immediate and delayed(DOMS) results, hurts so good right.
