Mixed it up a bit this morning, trained the shoulders and back the first half of my workout and completed my workout with a healthy dose of an hour of yoga. My workout partner and I are going to start doing yoga with the gym’s yoga instructor every Wed @ 6AM. I truly loved the stretches and strengh poses of yoga.

Arose @ 6AM, rode 25 miles on the bike, did 15 minutes elliptical and then did a full blown legs workout, including squats, leg presses, calf raises and finished with lunges. I am sure the hurt will hit tonight, but what a hell of a workout! Everyone have a great weekend!

Rose bright and early, 25 miles of road ahead on the bike, very satisfying. Stopped at the gym and did 15 minutes on the elliptical and a few reps with some tricep exercises(I didn’t hit them this week, like I would have liked). I plan on making this a Saturday and Sunday ritual with the long bike rides, was totally finished with the bike ride by 6:30 AM(before the traffic really got going) Trying to work the mid section with a lot of water , cardio and eating a little better(portioning).

I haven’t posted any blogs for a while, concentrating on lifting, progress pics coming by the end of the weekend. I have really been working the shoulders and back hard lately, incorporating many heavier lifts. Check back at the end of the weekend, I think I am making progress, but pics will tell the story. have a great rest of the week!

Did a full body workout this morning, after a week fight with Bronchitis. I could tell I was out of the gym a full week. One nice thing is everyone was asking how I was and they couldn’t wait for me to get back, it is nice to know you have a family at the gym to and people that look after you there also. It will take a week to get back to the levels I left at. I wanted to lift more this morning, however, I knew to ease back into. A basic routine for today–Lateral pulldowns, pullups(slightly assisted today),tricep pressdown, tricep extensions,Hammer curls,Pulley curls, shoulder supersets(front, bent flye, lat raises, upright row),DB chest presses, DB incline chest presses, ball crunches, Russian twists and back extensions. Will post progress pics next weekend. Have a great weekend everyone.

Have been out with the flu for four days now, looking forward to hitting the gym once again. Hopefully tomorrow, I just hope everyone else does the same if they are sick and stays out of the gym(I am not saying I got it from there, but I have a good idea).Progress pics late next week.

Started a new routine this week, back/shoulders Monday and Wednesday—Biceps/Triceps Tuesday and Saturday—-Legs Thursday—-Chest Friday . With a dose of the HIIT program at least four to five times per week. Finally got into a schedule that I can stick to . Check out the HIIT articles on bodybuilding.com. YOU will be impressed with this program. No more boring steady state cardio.

Worked my back and shoulders this morning, Warmed up with some rotator exercises and into the shoulders with several supersets of various lifts. Next went straight into back and I hit the back hard. I am trying a new NO supplement this morning ,wanting to see if I can get more blood to the worked area. My workout partner and I are stepping it up quite a bit with supersets, dropsets and forced reps, seems to be working well. Progress pics in about two weeks(each month I will put up new progress pics). Have a great weekend everyone!
