80# db success!
Friday, April 25th, 2008I did it! on tue I attempted flat bench db press with 80 pounders and I had just finished my last set with 75’s x 5 reps. Got my mind set and just did it! Of course I had someone on ea side of me just in case. Which makes you feel safe and stronger. I am also curling 90 #’s with standing ez bar curls and at the end of my back workout I am getting out 20 pullups. Not bad and I only weigh 124. When you get the mind set and totally focus with perfect form you can move more than you think. It’s true that we are really stronger than we think– it takes a good spotter to push you thru that you feel safe with. I am now offically on show count down with 19 wks to go. Praying to stay injury free and make this year my best.
I will be quest posing with 3 other WNBF female pro’s at the INBF Capital City Championships this July 12 in Sacramento CA. It will be a blast just to be on stage with these ladies having fun.
Remember you have to have the mind set and focus, but the knowledge to know when and how.
