 Happy Tuesday

This morning I posted some pics (before) training…I think it’s good to never forget what life was like before weights:) Have a wonderful day…

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.
       - Eleanor Roosevelt

With courage you will dare to take risks, have the strength to be compassionate, and the wisdom to be humble. Courage is the foundation of integrity.
       - Keshavan Nair

Moral cowardice that keeps us from speaking our minds is as dangerous to this country as irresponsible talk. The right way is not always the popular and easy way. Standing for right when it is unpopular is a true test of moral character.
       - Margaret Chase Smith

One isn’t necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can’t be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest.
       - Maya Angelou

When a resolute young fellow steps up to the great bully, the world, and takes him boldly by the beard, he is often surprised to find it comes off in his hand, and that it was only tied on to scare away the timid adventurers.
       - Ralph Waldo Emerson

To go against the dominant thinking of your friends, of most of the people you see every day, is perhaps the most difficult act of heroism you can perform.
        - Theodore H. White

Courage is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.
        - Winston Churchill

To dare is to lose one’s footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself.
       - Soren Kierkegaard

Whoever said anybody has a right to give up?
       - Marian Wright Edelman

Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish. A little knowledge that acts is worth infinitely more than much knowledge that is idle.

Walk/Blog

<strong />

Happy, Happy Sunday Morning

There just is no better way to start my day then my morning Blog/Walk. Normally, I will try to be up and going prior to my FIT training, work, family and commuting my daughter-but there are days when I just can’t fit it in until I get home!!! Those are the days were I truly understand the benefit(s) of my morning time on the treadmill. If I don’t get this time my day seems to be off-as I did not have the proper time to plan out my day!! One must have a clear plan of action, you can’t just stumble through your day and expect to reach your goals! Or at least that’s my take on it!! So it’s here that I start my day, walking and writing…..There’s a ton of motivating blogs here to read, as well as inspirational posts…So what better way to spend your morning, then with those that– too –plan their days!!

Have a beautiful Sunday…

If the going is real easy, beware, you may be headed down hill.

The heights by great men reached and kept were not obtained by sudden flight. But they, while their companions slept,
were toiling upward in the night.

The toughest part of getting to the top of the ladder, is getting through the crowd at the bottom.

Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.

When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on.

Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.

Always start my day with a 5 mile walk/blog on the treadmill…This is the way I clear my mind and prepare for the day at hand!!

Preparation is key-for motivation can only carry you so far.

Accept challenges, so that you may feel the exhilaration of victory.
       -George S. Patton

Adventure is worthwhile.
       -Amelia Earhart

Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.
       -Joshua J. Marine

Difficulties are meant to rouse, not discourage. The human spirit is to grow strong by conflict.
       -William Ellery Channing

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
       -Mark Twain

Unless a man undertakes more than he possibly can do, he will never do all that he can.
       –Henry Drummond

What a man really wants is creative challenge with sufficient skills to bring him within the reach of success so that he may have the expanding joy of achievement.
       –Nash

To succeed… you need to find something to hold on to, something to motivate you, something to inspire you.
       –Tony Dorsett

Life’s challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they’re supposed to help you discover who you are.
       -Bernice Johnson Reagon

Challenges make you discover things about yourself that you never really knew. They’re what make the instrument stretch-what make you go beyond the norm.
