W00t! upped my chest press to 75 and I feel great! Going to buy 8 pound dumbells next to see if I can really kick off scupting my arms.

Caps of my shoulders look awesome! Time to up the game and get better results!

I used 8 pound dumbells during scuplting today! wow, what a difference 3 extra pounds makes! Much more intense work out! Very please with arms and how they are shaping up! My next major focus is back. But, I think due to BF %, it may just take some time ( being realistic about it!)

Lat pulls 90 pounds 3 sets of 12
    Chest day today!

Ordered some new supplements from BB, very excited for when they arrive. I’ve been wanting to try CLA , so I hope to see some good results!

On Saturday, Dad said he was proud of me :) He’s almost 70 and very athletic ( former jogger, now goes to gym for weights), so I took that as a major kudos! Step Mom and Step Sis joined a gym too ( Yay! So, I hope they are able to stick to it and get some lean muscle mass. They both have thyroid issues, but that should not hold them back.

    A New Year and a New(er) me!

I decided to give myself a bit of a break and drop down to 2 workouts from 3. I’m lifting heavier and I need more recovery time for the gym. So, yay! more sleep - for now. After nearly 5 months, I decided my body as telling me I needed a break and let’s face it, I like to sleep, lol. I’m good at it! So, I’m getting up at 5 am, instead of 4. I’ll keep up pilates for core strength (2x a week) and yoga (1x a week) for flexibility in the morning. I just have to be extra diligent with warm up stretching as my muscles are missing the am work out.

I added deadlifts, squats, lunges to my routien and for the first time in YEARS! my legs hurt, hehe. But, my progress seems to be steady, so I’m pleased. I tend to push, push, push… and that’s not always the best thing to do.

I tried interval running on my walk ( .. it was cold, hehee) so i’m going to increase it until I can maintain a steady jog. Goal is march, no firm date. I want to keep it fluid. I need some excess weight off before then so I am cycling my calories down a bit as well.

Dang, I need to work on my bench press! I’ve been slacking and focusing too much on shoulders and legs!

New goal is to work up to 20 # dumb bells and hit it in 60-90 days. If it’s too hard, I’ll adjust it back to 120 days!

I think I’ll take next week off but for cardio and rest some. Been lifting 5x a week since Nov. and I’m starting to feel worn/stressed. My quads are getting killer with squats and the muscle is coming through nicely as the fat comes off. I had DOMS for the first time EVER last month! lol

My shoulders look insane! hehee. I had to reinstall my PC, so I’ll try to get pics to update it soon. Goal is at least 50 pounds by next birthday ( Late Sept.) so I have some time. But, honestly, I think I can go below 150 pounds. It’ll just take time and commitment!
