Wow! I’m in shock!

Hey Everyone, 

If you read my blogs, you know I made a little change in my diet and saw the results I wanted….Well, this week was very busy for me & I didn’t put as much thought into my meals as I usually do.  I was rushing from one thing to another and pretty much just grabbed a shake and kept on going!  I’m still having oatmeal and a big glass of water as soon as I wake up, but after that my carb intake wasn’t much.

I was stuck at 129-130 lbs. for about 2 months.  Then about 5 days ago, my weight finally dropped to 127.  This morning, I weighed 124.5! I can’t believe it! I was just trying to get back around 127.  I know weight is just a #, but I feel really good and lean.  It still amazes me how much control we have over what our bodies look like.  Too bad more people can’t figure that out.  I cringe when I hear a woman say ‘I gained 10 lbs with every kid’ or something like that.  Some people really believe that it’s not their fault that they have globs of fat all over.  Even worse is seeing their children with fat rolls!  It’s really a shame!

I think this site and all the people on here are great!  We are all trying to spread the word about being fit and healthy.  It’s ALL good! :)

 

It must be the oatmeal!!

I am thrilled this morning! 2 or 3 pounds isn’t much unless you are obsessed with being fit, so only my Body Space community can relate…..When I went on vacation, I was 127 and feeling so lean - it was such an amazing feeling!  After having a cheat day on the cruise & eating their food for 4 days that was soaked in butter, my sweet tooth came back & 3 pounds suddenly appeared.  Not a big deal, but I wanted it off.

While I always eat very clean, my friends, know I have a handful (or two) of Junior Mints more than I’d like to admit (lol) but besides that — very strict.  Those 2-3 pounds have hung around for 2 months now.

I changed my Kashi cereal in the morning to oatmeal for the last month & this morning like magic - I’m back to 127 (Yeah!) I’m even extremely pre-menstral!! I normally wouldn’t get near the scale right now!!

So I’m officially ‘In Love’ with oatmeal!! (lol)
