OK, so here’s my Hydroxycut Max review:
For me personally, I can only take 1 capsule 3 x a day because it makes me sick and jittery if I take more. So I really don’t think that I’m going to get the full effects of what the product can do. Now I will be searching for something else. I’m just really sensitive to stuff.
On another note, we just returned from a 3 day mini-vacation at an amusement/waterpark and the zoo on the 3rd day. Not such a great idea when it’s flippin’ 100 degrees outside! My hubby and I were worn out after 3 days of chasing a 2 and 5 year old. Needless to say that I had taken off 6 days from exercise and 3 from clean eating. I tried and succeeded at some meals while on the trip but it’s hard when you have limited choices. I started back yesterday and it felt great! I feel so much better! There is such a big difference in me now because the "old me" would have said "to heck with it" after returning from vacation and stopped everything but this chick is on a mission. And I will not stop till I reach my goal. This is extremely important to me. Everyone has their down days but the point is to get back up and go on. The past is behind us and you can’t change it.
I am working on getting up at 6am to do cardio. I have been trying this for 6 months now. What is wrong with me? Every morning I just want to kick myself for not doing it. Since I spend 1 hour a day on weight training, I want to get up before my kids and do the cardio. I feel bad to take another hour a day away from them to workout. My 5 year old says "Mommy, are you going to exercise again?" He wants to go outside and play. To be honest, I’m to darn tired after chasing them all day. I go to bed and it seems like I watch the clock all night, I just don’t sleep well at all. If I can just push myself to do it for a week I think I’ll stick with it.
Without cardio, my body will never look like I want it too. I could have had major changes by now. I’ve had alot of muscle growth since I started but too much "skinny fat" covering it from the waist down to show. I just gabbing, not complaining, tryin’ to get my behind in gear! Thanks for listening.

I’ve decided that I just don’t have time to post each workout on the tracker! I done it for a couple of weeks and was too overwhelmed! It would be alright if I didn’t have a 2 and 4 year old. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I am working out 5-6 days a week. I am posting my new workouts on my main page. I try to change them every 4-6 weeks. However, I think I will start rotating 3 or 4 workouts all year. Not sure if that’s a good idea or not, any advice on that? All of my workouts have different rountines (usually 4 0r 5). So far I have 2, supersets and my current (you can view on my main page). Not sure if it’s splits but the name of it is Diesel in Days.
As for my updated progress pics, they’re coming tomorrow. Still struggling with my legs and glutes. My upper body is doing great, now if I can only get the bottom half to follow. Later gaters!

Today I went to the local grocery store. I was wearing my BB.com t-shirt. There was 2 women walking in behind me talking to each other. I heard one of them say "What woman would want to look like a bodybuilder, that’s just nasty." Can I just say that my blood was beginning to boil. I stopped, turned around, and looked at her from top to bottom and just smiled! You know why? Because she was about 80lbs. overweight! What the heck was she thinking? It’s a shirt lady, get a grip or get your own and exercise a little bit while you’re at it! (Ok, calm down Deanna, exercise what you learned from "The Secret" and "A New Earth"). I have never discriminated against overweight people because I’ve been there. People have choices! Some choose to be healthy and fit, some choose to be overweight. I don’t talk to people like that! As a nurse I understand that there are medications or medical conditions that keep weight on individuals. And you know, we never know a persons situation or what’s going on in their life. So my point is, people shouldn’t judge others. We all have our own goals in life. If someone wants to be negative they best not point it in my direction cause I’m not hearin’ it! They aren’t stealing my pocketful of sunshine, raining on my parade, or holding me down! I’m reachin’ for the stars BABY!!! That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it!
OK, I’m done! (exhale)

OK, so I’ve been doing really well for the past 3 1/2 months and then comes a setback! I was diagnosed last week with a severe UTI (urinary tract infection). I thought, alright, suck it up! OH No, that didn’t work! Instead of taking a couple of days off, I ended up in alot of pain, which in return made me take off 4 days instead of 2. I started back yesterday and felt fine. Now if I can only get rid of this dog gone headache I’ve had for a week now! If it’s not 10 things it’s 20, ya know? Anyway, I’m getting back in the game. I’ve come way too far to let this get me down. Those 4 days off felt like a month and I feel like a BIG BLOB of flab. I have too many people watching me and counting on me and I can’t let them down or myself.
I also need to update my workout tracker. I’m almost 2 weeks behind! And my progress pics were due last week. Hopefully, I’ll get them up next week.

Two things goin’ on:
1. I received my July 2008 issue of Oxygen Magazine. I quickly opened it up and THERE I AM on page 66. I know it’s just an email to Tosca Reno but it has inspired me since they contacted me. My next goal: To be on Oxygen’s "Future of Fitness" page.
2. I don’t know what’s going on but I love it! I’m not sure if it’s the Hydroxycut Max, the BCAA’s, or if it was just time but I have seen major changes in my arms and shoulders this week. WOW! I keep looking in the mirror because I can’t believe it. I had read in M&F to take the BCAA’s (Glutamine, Taurine, and L-arginine) before and after workouts. However, I’ve only been taking them after and started on Monday. I started the H-Max to help with fat burning on Sunday. This is so motivating I had to post new progress pics of my upper body a week early (I usuallly only post them once a month). Now if my legs would only follow.lol I’m very open to leg routines if you have any suggestions. ChaCha

I decided to try Hydroxycut Max. I needed a product to help me with fat burning and energy. Just started it today so I’ll keep you posted. So far, it has given me energy and hasn’t made me feel "shaky and weak".

I had my body fat measured today!!! It was 21.6%. Not the best but considering I’ve only been hitting the weights and eating clean for about 2 1/2 months isn’t too bad. I was expecting around 30%. Don’t know how accurate it is but it was measured by one of those machines you hold in your hands in front of you (Body fat analyzer made by Ormon, I think). I think I will do this once a month or so.

This has been a challening week so far. My babies are sick and now I think I have it! Didn’t workout yesterday due to lack of sleep (spent most of night at ER with my child). So far, I’ve worked out Mon. and today and hurried through them. I plan to workout everyday the rest of the week including Sat. and Sun. (Lord knows I need it after eating that huge piece of cake on Sat.)lol Well my son is looking at me saying "Mommy, Did you already brush your teeth?" So I guess that’s my cue that he’s tired. Gotta brush…chat atcha later.

My baby had his 2nd birthday party Saturday. It goes by so fast. But I decided that since I had been eating clean for a while I’d treat myself to a nice piece of cake. I really shouldn’t have ate it but I did. It was about 4in.x4in. in size (too big) an on top of that it was a corner piece, geez, what was I thinking. Oh, but it was good!!! Let me tell you that I paid for it though. I felt like pure crap afterwards (tired and fat!!!) I kept thinking OH NO, this is going straight to my behind and thighs. Which it probably did. Just a word of wisdom to those of you who are thinking of overdoing it with cake, double cheeseburgers, milkshakes, pies, or whatever your "cheat meal may be, think twice. I wish I would have taken 1 or 2 bites and been done with it but NO, I had to eat the whole darn thing and know my gluteus maximus and legs look like it did a month ago, COTTAGE CHEESE!!! And on top of that I gained 1.5lbs. Now I know why people on BB.com say that when you cheat make a healthy choice. I did pretty good with the rest of my meals but no more of that. I work too darn hard!
So I was ready to start a good workout this morning including cardio. However, I had to go to headstart with my son and volunteer, which is fine but I came home wore out and with a belly ache. Please stop hurting so I can workout!!! Give me a break! I need to work this cake off my behind! All I could think about when I was eating that cake was Chicken Tuna’s blog on "people offering you crap". The bad thing about it was I did it volunteerily. Hold on, I really need to kick myself! OH,I can’t this is leg day and I don’t need another excuse not to workout.
OK, I closing this blog to go push myself through a workout, bellyache, cottage cheese butt, legs, and all! PEACE!!!

I loved my workout today! It really kicked my behind but I liked it! Yesterday was a rest day (according to my workout plan) but I wanted to make it a cardio day. However, I took my 2 and 4 year old to the park for 3 hours and trust me, that was a workout. My 2 year old never stops! He is everywhere and into everything! I’m sure all you mommies know what I’m talking about! Well, it’s time for bed! Chat atcha later!
