BLAH!!!

This has been a challening week so far. My babies are sick and now I think I have it! Didn’t workout yesterday due to lack of sleep (spent most of night at ER with my child). So far, I’ve worked out Mon. and today and hurried through them. I plan to workout everyday the rest of the week including Sat. and Sun. (Lord knows I need it after eating that huge piece of cake on Sat.)lol Well my son is looking at me saying "Mommy, Did you already brush your teeth?" So I guess that’s my cue that he’s tired. Gotta brush…chat atcha later.

What did I do!!!

My baby had his 2nd birthday party Saturday. It goes by so fast. But I decided that since I had been eating clean for a while I’d treat myself to a nice piece of cake. I really shouldn’t have ate it but I did. It was about 4in.x4in. in size (too big) an on top of that it was a corner piece, geez, what was I thinking. Oh, but it was good!!! Let me tell you that I paid for it though. I felt like pure crap afterwards (tired and fat!!!) I kept thinking OH NO, this is going straight to my behind and thighs. Which it probably did. Just a word of wisdom to those of you who are thinking of overdoing it with cake, double cheeseburgers, milkshakes, pies, or whatever your "cheat meal may be, think twice. I wish I would have taken 1 or 2 bites and been done with it but NO, I had to eat the whole darn thing and know my gluteus maximus and legs look like it did a month ago, COTTAGE CHEESE!!! And on top of that I gained 1.5lbs. Now I know why people on BB.com say that when you cheat make a healthy choice. I did pretty good with the rest of my meals but no more of that. I work too darn hard!

So I was ready to start a good workout this morning including cardio. However, I had to go to headstart with my son and volunteer, which is fine but I came home wore out and with a belly ache. Please stop hurting so I can workout!!! Give me a break! I need to work this cake off my behind! All I could think about when I was eating that cake was Chicken Tuna’s blog on "people offering you crap". The bad thing about it was I did it volunteerily. Hold on, I really need to kick myself! OH,I can’t this is leg day and I don’t need another excuse not to workout.

OK, I closing this blog to go push myself through a workout, bellyache, cottage cheese butt, legs, and all! PEACE!!!

Today’s workout

I loved my workout today! It really kicked my behind but I liked it! Yesterday was a rest day (according to my workout plan) but I wanted to make it a cardio day. However, I took my 2 and 4 year old to the park for 3 hours and trust me, that was a workout. My 2 year old never stops! He is everywhere and into everything! I’m sure all you mommies know what I’m talking about! Well, it’s time for bed! Chat atcha later!

Starting new workout tomorrow!

Tomorrow, I start a new workout. It involves 3 routines and 6 exercises performed as supersets. I found it in the BB.com forums (thanks TheSculptor).

I bought my first bikini in 7 years this past week. WOW! I had to, one of my best friends was having her little girl a pool party and I can’t keep avoiding my unfit and out-of-shape body. My kids deserve better than that. I felt so bad, lazy and selfish last year when my 4 year old asked if we could go to the pool and I wouldn’t because I was embarrassed. That’s not even right! So I bought the bathing suit, went to the party, and my kids loved it. I just keep thinking, "It’s alright, you’ll have a rocking body this time next year". I came home and began to search BB.com for different workouts. I needed one that would put alot of focus on my legs and arms and found it. I am going to post new pics tomorrow and then again in a month so we can all see my progress. What would I do without BB.com????

This past weekend I went to GNC and they gave me a sample (14 capsules) of D4. I took 1 the other day and didn’t do much (I took 1 because I’m usually very sensitive to stuff like that). So yesterday, after I drank my protein shake and banana I decided to take 2 this time. OMG, can I just tell you that I was zoomin’ (my word for loads of energy). I cleaned my house for 2 hours and still done my cardio workout. I felt great! However, today I took 2 after eating 1/2 banana and about 2 or 3 oz. of EAS 100% whey protein shake. (I had already had 1C. of oatmeal with 1/2C. blueberries, milled flaxseed, and wheat germ 1 hour before). Anyway, I started my workout at 11:20am and I was zoomin’ like yesterday but at 12:00pm I started getting weak and shaky. I struggled through the rest of my workout but will have to do abs later due to weakness and NO ENERGY.

Lesson learned: Make sure I eat plenty before taking anything, I feel like crap now!

OK, here goes: I’m about 2 months into this. After purchasing "The Eat clean Diet" by Tosca Reno something clicked in me and I knew I had to change the way I cooked and ate for my husband and children. I love this lifestyle of eating clean (I don’t think of it as a diet at all) and would NEVER go back! I’m going to start posting blogs once a week. Yeah, no one may be reading them but it helps keep me on track. I’m also going to be posting pics once a month so I can be accountable for my progress. I love looking at before and present pics. I find BB.com to be so awesome and inspiring. There is so much great info and people willing to help you out with advice. I love this place!
