I went off Keto because of my Gout(The by-product of PROTEIN is PURINES and its by-product is URIC ACID. When you have too much UA, crystals form in your joints that are like glass! Massive damage, pain and swelling occurs). So I have been reading more about PH balance(ALKALI/ACID). I started writing my new diet on 11-4 but didn’t start following it until 11-5. I combined the MET-Rx diet(charted calorie intakes of 100%/70% based on sex, height and weight) with a low PURINE diet, with a low sodium diet, with a PH balanced diet. Woke up on 11-6@ 275 and this morning at 273lbs.? Could be from less sodium but most important I am feeling better! I thought I would jot this down before I forget when I started this diet. I’m not going to the gym for a while as I am going to be very busy helping family with home remodeling. I will post more info on PH and the diet I am on when I find the time to sit at the PC.
