Today’s the day that the changes to the diet start - will be eating six healthy meals a day rather than 3 large unhealthy ones(with snacks in between), and also give whey protein powder a try.

Glad to see that you are making the diet changes. That with the work out will be huge. I found that something as simple as controlling portions made a massive difference. The weight is just falling off now. It is surreal. Wish I would have figured this out 10-20 years ago.
If you can keep things under control and be consistent about it, you’ll be amazed at how your body responds. I am can’t believe how little I can eat and my body is totally fine with it - no loss in energy - work outs continue to be intense. I think I am actually consuming about a third of what I used to in regards to food.
Get 25-30 grams of protein in each of your meals and make sure to eat the very first thing in the morning - it gets your metabolism roaring right from the start and, an important tip: eat dinner early and don’t eat anything else before bed. If you get hungry, just slam some water. Just that little trick alone took almost 20 lbs off of me in just a couple of months. I used to large dinners and later sit in front of the TV with a bucket of popcorn.
I am sure you have looked over my bodyblog. I posted my diet there a couple of weeks back. Received some comments on it, but didn’t make any major changes.
If you can swing anything other than protein powder, start with a can of Universal’s Animal Pak for a multivitiman. If you can afford any of their other stuff, like Animal Pump - that is a good one as well to take just before you go to the gym.
So what kind of gym do you go to there? or is it at home?
Your Dad is Indian … I have some clients in my business that are from India. Their accent is interesting.
I actually lived in England for two years when I was in the US Air Force military near Ipswich at RAF Bentwaters. Still kick myself for never visiting Ireland while I was there - never went to France either and could have easily done both. I was in my mid 20s at the time and mighty clueless about where I was.
Keep at it! You’ll cut up well … just be patient with yourself and realize this is a journey.
