Out of time, but now its 2adays

Started back in school today so I figured I would try out the gym at the school again. Then I remembered why I don’t lift there. It was so crowded and I could barely finish, wait I didn’t even finish my workout. Today was chest and since I couldn’t get on the bench I did everything else in my workout. Machine press, dips, db flyes, pec deck but didn’t get to do the bench press to neck or db pullovers. Now about the 2 adays. I’m going to try this for this week and see what happens with my body. After I finish this class, I am going back to the gym to hit my triceps for a good pump. I’ll fill you all in later on in the day…

Thats what I’m talking about!!!

Wow what a day. I arrived at the gym around 10:15 and I only had until 11:00 until I had to leave. As I am walking into the gym my mp3 player goes dead. So now i’m like, Oh great now I don’t have any music so I thought I would concentrate on the motions and technique even more today. I warmped up with 110 on the bicep machine for 6 reps per arm. Then it was to the 77’s. 77’s are in the latest article of MuscleMag. How you perform them goes like this: 1rep normal grip 1 rep close grip 2 reps reg. 2 reps close. and go all the way up to 7 and then go back down while super setting them with incline dumbell curls. Then my triceps came into play. Cable pushdowns, and supersetted with the tricep pushdown machine and the triple drop setted with rope pushdowns. wow what a pump!!! I don’t know how i fiinshed the workout..Hopefully with this workout in the bag, it will push me through my plateau….

Good and Plenty

Working out now for about a week and a half off of creatine, I didn’t notice any strength loss…that is until today. I warm up on the preacher curl machine and when I went to do the weight I normally do, I COULDN’T DO IT!!!! So now I’m like, greeeaaattt this workout is going to suck. But on my final set of curls I FINALLY SET A NEW PR. I curled 70lbs in each hand 6 times!!!!! I was so excited…wow, just when I thought the day was going to suck..it ended with a bang!!!!

Titanic Triceps

Today was back to work at the gym. I have been lacking in my tricep workouts lately. I don’t know what it is. I try and do different exercises every time but still when I go back to the pushdowns, skull crushers and dips i’m not adding any reps or weight to them. I need something to shock my tri’s and get them to keep on growing.

Not enough

So for the past month or so I have been going back in forth between my gym and college and the gym at the high school I graduated from. I don’t really like the gym I have at the college I am at now because they won’t let you lift heavy. Now how the hell does that make sense. Thats like putting a plate of food in front of someone telling them to use their face to eat it without their hands, but they cant get dirty. So I managed today to do my back workout. Through in some wide grip pull ups for a warm up and felt really good. Now how come when i warmed up with a 95lb dumbell for one arm rows for 30 reps i really felt it. But when I moved to 100lb for 12 I didn’t feel jack? I’m guessing my body responds to intense training at heavy weight so well see what happens.

Just picked up the new issue that has an article in it of branch warren about the 8 weeks to bigger pecs. So i’m going to do some chest and tri’s tomrrow. Oh and I’m finally going to the devils game too. God, the last time I went there was prolly 3rd grade lol. I can’t wait!!!!

Two A Days

Wow, its been a while since I have updated my blog. Lifting hasn’t been going so well with the holiday passing and everything. 2 days in a row without lifting, I felt as if I was going through withdrawl.

Gasprai Nutrition sent me free samples of SizeOn which I have been dieing to try. The flavor was horrible, I had to hold my nose the whole time while I was drinking it. I works great though!!! I wasn’t getting any fatigue in my muscles during the work out at all.

This coming month of December, I am going to experiment on myself. I have been taking creatine for a while now. I am going to come off of the creatine and subsitute it with my regular protein and weight gainers. I’m going to record all of my stats from weight, to strenght and so on and then compare the results at the end of the month to see what really works more for my body.

Yesterday was my first double session day. In the mourning I did my shoulders and traps. Felt really good and beat my personal bests on one arm raises. This workout I took from the December issue of Muscle Mag with Johnnie Jacksons workout for his shoulders. Wow that was amazing. After a couple of hours I went back to the gym to blow out my quads. I am trying to get freaky legs like Branch Warren right now. I KILLED MY PERSONAL GOALS ON LEG EXTENSIONS!!!! I warmed up with 70 on each leg for 30 REPS!! I worked my way up to 90lbs on each leg for 8 reps. Then it was onto the parking lot with walking lunges. 90lbs on my back for 60-70 deep walking lunges. Once that was finished, I could barely walk over to the squat machine. Front sqats just to blow them out. 135 for 10 reps..felt really good…

Short and Sweet

Yesterday I couldn’t finish my workkout so i needed to make up for it today. It was a short and sweet speed workout. I came into the gym and jumped right on to the tricep extension and ripped 12 reps and 90lbs. Then to the cable machine for rope pushdowns and then supersetted with close grip pushdowns. After the amazing feeling of the swelling began, it was time for skull crushers. Superset that with dips and repeat 3x’s. That was all in under a half hour. Probably because not that many people were in the gym. Tomrrow I hope to rip apart my back at my buddys gym so we will see.

Hard..But overcoming

Today is Monday, and that means my chest workout is today. I literally have to come prepared a day ahead of time because it is more mental that a physical workout. Seeing the weiight and pushing it are two different things. You train your body to be able to push, thats the easy part. You need to put your heart into your mind and know that you can do it.  The bench routine that I need to prepare for is: 180 for 8 reps…rest….190 for 6 reps….rest….210 for 4 reps…..rest…230 for 3 reps….rest….240 for 2 reps…rest…250 for 1 rep (not my max)…rest and finally 210 for 4 reps…i didn’t get to do anymore exercises for the day but I couldn’t because so many people were on the bench. so thats all for today, think i’m going to blow out my triceps tomrrow..

I’M IN LOVE

I went to a new gym that my buddy has been going to for awhile. As soon as i walked in a fell in love. There were so many machines there it was crazy!!! Every machine except a donkey calf machine, thats ok. I but onto the workout lots of sets for a really good pump. I really think I’m going to have to go back there and become a memeber.
