2-Bacon Cheeseburgers, 1-1/4lb. Double Stack w/ Cheese, 5-Pc Nuggets and ..

a Baked Potato.

Ok already, I was hungry after my workout.  And besides, I needed some protein quick!  I did toss one of the 3 burgers’ buns.  And I only ate half of the sour cream WITH butter baked potato.  With the exception of the grease content, it was a decent meal, UNTIL:

Until I swallowed that last bite!  “Indigestion” is an understatement.  I hate to waste food:and I was feeling hungry:and I’ll admit that the cheese product dripping on the tan colored beef product was quite tasty.  Now I remember why obesity and heart problems are so prevalent in the U.S.  All this “food for a mere 5 dollars!

So, I did Cardio today: a rarity for me.  But, so is downing all that fast-food junk.  I glanced at my PDA and noticed that tomorrow is the first day of March.  How time flies when you ain’t doing lunges:.I mean, when you are having FUN! 

A five month lunge hiatus:gotta’ love it!  But the loss of lower body muscle is terribly missed.

All my fitness buddies seem to be dieting for the upcoming “show.  Oh how I want:to be “in that number, but I’ll be patient in the interim:until I can do a lunge comfortably.  Well, at least as comfortable as it was to perform one prior to the ACL injury.  Then, I’ll come “marching in.

So, to all those with a Spring/Summer contest date nearing, Best Wishes!  And continue with your respective “diets.  Leave the junk food for ME as I re-hab.  I guess I need to re-hab not only my knee and foot, but my diet too.  Cheers!!!  –Dawn Melanie

    Good to hear you are doing well… at least well enough to eat multiple cheeseburgers at a sitting! ;-) Makes me awfully hungry for one myself. Dieting never was my strong point. However, I’ll settle for a low fat turkey sandwich for now…

    Stot it girl! You make me hungry just by reading this… I got almost 2 lbs to lose until Saturday - gotta weigh in 56kg on contest day… I’ll catch up with you Sunday! :)

    Girl, I remember eating like that. I just didnt look like you when I was eating like that. Talk about having your cake (or burgers) and eating it, too. I bet that did cause a crazy tummy ache.

    Did you know that a Triple whopper has 1200 calories?

    Once of found this out, I haven’t had a Whopper since.

    Yeah … I am quite aware of the macronutrient and caloric damage that junk has. BUT, with the cursed fast metabolism, I do need the extra junk once in a while. And I did it bec. I had nothing at home to prepare…ok, I was lazy. BUT - I got my protein (and a bunch of other things that I did not need).

    I liken eating occasional junk meals to taking the flu shot. Flu shot is so your body won;t freak out if it es exposed to the flu. Eating junk helps keep the metabolism going so your body doesn’t freak out if you do partake in a little unhealthy culinary selections. Just my humble OPINION. –Dawn Melanie

    Hey, if you’re not leaning out, a calorie is a calorie as far as I’m concerned… :)

    Well JedIBB, a calorie is STILL a calorie even when leaning out. It’s just ALWAYS important to realize from WHERE the calorie is derived - i.e. which macronutrient.
    In this case, I needed them ALL that night…and I had a blast consuming them too. :-) ~Dawn Melanie

    All that food you just described sounds SO INCREDIBLY GOOD! Lol. It’s horrible for me to admit, but I want that food too! But us girls have to stick together and eat clean, right? :-)

    Wow! now that’s what I call fast food! Reminded me of a scene in ‘’Supersize me'’ where the guy tries to gorge down all the supersized burger for 15 min! he ends up puking the whole thing.
