Dave Angus’ MuscleTech Experience

Hey everyone.
I want to start by saying thank you for having the interest in reading my "Diary" about my MuscleTech experience.
I have tried many different supplements in the industry but I have never tried a muscletech supplement. Recently one of my roommates purchased the MucsleTech products NaNo Vapor, Anabolic Halo, and Nitro-Tech hardcore. He purchased this about 2 weeks ago and already everyone in our house has noticed him filling out a lot and having HUGE gains. This triggered me and made me want to try it. This time I am going to really follow a strict plan to really see if these products is what is making him fill out or if thats just what his body is naturally doing. This will be a good test for MuscleTech because I have a body type that doesn’t build much muscle fast.
I have taken some progress shots and I will make more every week so that we can see the difference. I will also take measurements before and after so that we know exactly how much I gain.
I will add to this every friday to talk about gains in both strength and size.
Once again I want to thank you for reading this and I’d love to hear back from everyone!

Starting body weight : 143lbs

Day 1 - Kick Off
September 14th 2008

Hey Everyone!
I just got back from my first workout while using NaNo Vapor and Anabolic Halo by MuscleTech.
First off, I could really feel the pump throughout my workout (this is while using Nano Vapor). I was pushing myself much more and I wasn’t getting fatigued quickly.  I have used other Nitric Oxide products before but this one I have to say has had the best effect on me.
At the conclusion of my workout I took the Anabolic Halo and I must say, it feels like taking halls! Your body feels nice and cool. Its kind of like the icing on the cake. I dont know about everyone else, but I love the feeling that halls gives you (makes your airway more clear and overall just makes you feel much better).
I will update this again in a weeks time to look at updates on my body and my weights.

Day 4 – First day of full supplementation
September 18th 2008

Hey everyone!
Today is a very exciting day for me. Today is the day that I am getting into full force for the Muscletech supplementation. What I mean by this is that since these are such strong products, it is nice to ease your way into it. Take one scoop of vapor before workout and 1 scoop of halo after. Since I have done many Nitric Oxide products before I was able to start by taking 2 scoops of vapor but if your new to it, do yourself a favor and just take 1 to start. Now today I am going to take 2 scoops of the Anabolic Halo and see how that is. So far I have to say that I feel a bit bigger since starting. Weird eh? A supplement that actually makes you bigger. My chest is starting to fill our and my biceps and staying pumped a lot longer. Side note: I don’t know if you know this but I’m also taking Nitro Tech hardcore as my protein, it you want best results take these three supplements.
Back to the write up. Haha so, I also have some more good news, I started at 143lbs, I am not sitting at about 146 lbs! That’s a 3 pound gain in only 3 days!!!!!!!
I don’t know what to say other then WOW!
I am off to go to my workout and I will write up a bit after this.

Day 11
September 25th 2008

Hey everyone!
First off I want to thank you for reading this far. It really means a lot when people read what I put a lot of hard work in to.
Ok so over this past little bit I have been really strict on my muscletech supplementation. In these 11 days I have gained 5.5 lbs. I am now sitting at 148.5, which is amazing. I have tried many, many products and I have never gained weight like this! And for people that may be saying “Well he just ate like shit and gained fat, not muscle”…..all I have to say is SURE BUD…. Haha.
My chest become much bigger and much more defined. My abs have chizzled more and my back is definitely more defined. My biceps have also grown about 1 inch in the past 11 days! In conclusion to today’s diary I have to say that I am loving these products and to be honest I’ve actually already bought next months supply because they have a deal on it at GNC. Haha.

Day 16
September 30th 2008

Hey everyone!
Today is an exciting day! This is because today is the first day that I am releasing this diary. It isn’t finished but I want to get you anxious people reading! Soon I will be posting the final journal and please everyone let people know that it is up!
So anyways, today I have to say I feel the biggest that I’ve ever been. Normally before my workout I feel just a bit above average but today I feel that my biceps are much bigger and I feel that I am starting to fill out much more. I have set myself up a new workout plan for this month and I really feel that that is working really nicely as well. If I have enough demand for it, I will post it p so others can read off of it and either use my plan directly or feed off of it to compose their own.
So today I feel like all of this is starting to come together and I am starting to get the results that I want.
I still have a few days left in my vapor bottle and I have about have of the Halo bottle left.
This is just a little insider, but next month I am trying out a new product. I was at GNC yesterday and the shop owner there and I were talking and we reviewed a lot of products together there on the spot. He showed my one product that I really want to try and see how it is. I am going to give that one a whirl next month but I am going to do it a bit differently. I am going to ONLY take that product. Im not going to stack it with anything and were going to see its true beauty shine!

Update

I have been slacking too much when it comes to cardio and it is oh so important!

It really helps when I write on here ever day so if I start slacking again, be sure to give me heck for it!

Dave’s Workout for June 20th 2008

Hey everyone!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

So today I was really feeling chest, biceps and abs.

As you can see, I do abs pretty much every day because I’m really pushing to get the proper definition.

So anyways, without further or do, here is my workout plan for today!

Got to the gym at 10am (late start today)

Jump rope to get the muscles warmed up

then…

Bench press : 120 lbs 4 sets of 12

Incline Bench Press : 100 lbs 4 sets of 12

Dumbell  flies : 30 lbs DB’s 4 sets of 12

Machine Flies : 100 lbs 4 sets of 12

Then for Biceps I did my special pyramid bicep curl routine at 60 lbs.

Today had to be a bit short as I had a crazy schedual today!

Dave’s Workout Plan For June 19th 2008

Hey everyone!

Ok so today I had a bit smaller workout.
I was somewhat rushed because I had exams today and didnt have as much time!

So regardless, here is what I got done:

Seated Shoulder Press : 4 sets of 12-15 w/ 40lbs

Upright Rows : 4 sets of 12 w/ 30 lbs

Shoulder Shrugs : 4 sets of 12 w/ 60 lbs

Then I did abs

Decline abdominal crunch : 4 sets of 30 w/ a 10lbs weight

Weighted Abdominal Crunch : 4 sets of 25 w/ 115lbs weight

Then I did some cardio

Stationary Bike : 30 minutes

Then I finished off with a nice stretch.

Workout plan for June 18th 2008

Ok so this will be short and sweet because I have to jet off to work so here is what I did today:

Bench : 120lbs (4 sets of 15)

Decline Bench : 120 lbs (4 sets of 12) w/ superset of DB Flies at 20lbs
Incline bench : 100 lbs (4 sets of 12) w/ superset of DB Flies at 20 lbs

Standing BB Bicep Curl : 65lbs  (Pyramid going from 1-10 [1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4,…and so on] and back 10-1)

Standing DB Curls : 30lbs (4 sets of 12)

Abdominal Crunch : 110 lbs (4 sets of 30) w/ superset of 10 lbs weighted decline ab crunches

and then I finished with

35 mins of hill training on the stationary bike.

Todays workout felt very nice. Let me know what you think about it!
