Maximising your training
Can’t wait to tomorrow. My first training session of the year. I am ready. I couldn’t continue my 2007 training because of illness. Now I’m at a 100% and ready to go.
I’m starting the year with a sperset training with lot’s of tri-sets. I hope to diminish the time it takes to train and get maximum results
I have a lot to do this 2008, University, consulting business, the kids, so I have decided to maximise my training regimen. What takes one hour and a half, now takes 40 minutes. Everything is done in supersets or tri-sets (giant sets). This way, all of the exercises are done in record time, and my cardio lasts… 40 minutes. The thing in this type of training is to be slightly above your target heart beat range and stry there for the whole duration of the workout. Thus, a muscular workout of 1h15 plus 30 minute cardio equals almost 2 hours when you include stretching. With my "test routine", I should be able to do all in 40 minutes + 10 minutes of stretching.
I’ll compare my results next month, to see if it’s worth it!
