Good morning!  It beautiful here today. Could warm up just a bit.  Last night it was so nice I took a stroll along the river front.  Absolutely beautiful.

Everything is going well this week. I am focused and on track. Diet is good.  Workouts are fabulous.  Actually I am pretty damn sore.  I havent been this sore in a while so I know I am doing my body good.  Muscle confusion has set in.  It only means I am going to get better.

I know I have a lot of work to do yet.  Yes, all of you asking for more progress pics, I will have some up soon.  Thanks to everyone that offered their support and encouragement. I appreciate each of you.

Work has me swamped so I havent been able to get around much on here.  I think of you often.  I have so many projects started at work that I have to focus.  Lots of wellness thing in the work.  Its my passion so it really doesnt feel like work plus the employees really like them and the morale in the facility soars.

I hope you all have a fabulous day.  Now get out there and burn some fat and build some muscles.

The results are in for the challenge.  I am very happy for Maddi who took first.  Jumbo took second.  I am so proud of him.  He really stayed in there and made it happen.  Alen took third and I must say he looks fabulous.  All those muscles popping out.  I took fourth. and Fusion took fifth.

I learned a lot during this challenge and am very happy with the results I obtained.  I went into wanting to shred some body fat and that is exactly what I did.  I feel like I have achieved a lot.  I am happy.

Last night I did p90x chest, shoulders and triceps.  I am so freakin sore.  It was very intense.  I know thats a good thing and I know I am changing my body in a good way.  I need a massage though. Normally I dont get sore for a day or two. I woke up sore.  LOL

I hope you all have a fabulous day.

What a wonderful weekend!!  I worked part of Saturday.  Got a lot done. Felt a sense of accomplishment. I got out and enjoyed the outdoors some– mushroom hunting season.  Didn’t find any but enjoyed the woods.  Read a couple of books.  Overall just a relaxing weekend.

Today I am ready to burn some fat.  The circle will be meeting soon and I refuse to be fat for it.  My diet is planned.  Exercise program ready and I am so motivated.  With all the great opportunities coming up, I have to be ready.  Summer is almost here too.

Have a great day.

I took the plunge.  I enjoy the P90x so much and really feel a difference that I decided to become a beachbody coach.  I will enjoy helping people to stay motivated and show them some of the helpful tools and programs that beachbody offers.  My site is www.teambeachbody.com/daretosoar if your interested.

At work, I will be able to make positive changes with my wellness program certificate.  It will give me the knowledge and tools to changethe workplace culture to improve the health of my company’s employees.  With the personal trainers certificate, I will be able to assist in a one on one atmosphere.  I think the beachbody programs will help me encourage those that dont want to join a gym or are looking for a new proven program to shake things up.

Anyway that my thoughts for today.

Beautiful day here.  Makes you want to get out and play.  Feel the sun, light breeze, spring flowers in bloom.  Yep! Spring Fever Baby!!!! Want to come play with me?

Had a fabulous workout last night.  Frist day back in the gym in five day.  I didnt really do anything structured. Just did what I felt like.  Didnt know if my body would hold up to a real intense workout so I just played with the iron:  benching, squats, lunges, front raises, triceps, lat pulldowns, and crunches.  Now you guys know that even when I play I dont go light.  I wrapped up my bench with 225.  Sure it wasnt my max but it felt so good getting under the bar again.  Squats I went heavier and lower.  They are still pathetic but they felt good. I went home and rode for a few miles.  Its so beautiful outside.  I dont want to stay indoors.

Today I will do one of the p90x programs.  Did I mention that I truly enjoy them? LOL  I know I am addicted to working out.  I love the way it makes your body feel and mine is really starting to shape up.

With the opportunities that I have coming up, I am more motivated than ever to get to my goal weight and body.  I have to fit the part if I want to be a personal trainer and wellness manager.  With in the next year, things will be coming together.  I have to be ready.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.  End clean, train hard, stay motivated.

Happy Tuesday everyone.  Are you making a positive step towards your goal today?  You better be.  Although I am still sick, I am ready rumble.  I just have to limit how active I get.

There are so many positive things going on around me that I cant help but be excited and motivated to succeed.  I cant share everything but here are a few highlights.  Yesterday I made a proposal to my boss about getting two certifications: Wellness Program Manager and Personal training.  He shot me an email this morning said it looked very good and would like to discuss further once I rap up a project that I am working on.  That usually means “Yes! Lets do it.”  Ok I know there is still a chance it may fall through but its now in the 10% range.  Do you know how many people I can positively affect with these two certifications?  Plus next year I can add on the sports nutrition and endurance certs.  This will allow me the base for building a really solid program.

Other positive news: My friend Armond will be gracing another cover.  So excited for him.  My friend Dave shared some very exciting news for him and his family.  I am bubbling with happiness for them.  My friend Marc deserves a shout out too.  He knows what for.

Anyway I got to run.  Hope all is well now get out there and work up a sweat.

Good afternoon all my bodybuilding friends.  Hope you are all doing fine.  I am sick today.  I have been all weekend.  Saturday I took my boys to Six Flags.  After five hours of rollarcoasters I told them I had enough.  I was already sick and after that I was complete worn out.  Sunday I was suppose to hit the zoo with my girls but I had a fever and didnt feel like crawling out of bed.  They went without me.  I stayed in bed and read or slept.

Today I still feel crappy.  Although I thinks its getting better.  no training for me until I feel better.  Maybe tomorrow.  This is my recovery week so I dont feel bad about missing.  I may do some walking but not much more activity than that.  What I really need is some TLC.  LOL

Today I spent the day working on wellness programs.  I also put in a request for my company to pay for my personal trainers certificatation.  I design and implement all of our wellness programs so it would only be an advantage for them to do so.  I am also hoping to spend a week in WI for a wellness program conference.  Just waiting on approval.  Hmm I wonder if any of my friends live in WI.

Got to run.

How bad do you want this?

Friday, April 18th, 2008

A question I ask myself often.  Is this going to be my lifestyle or a passing hobby?  If its going to be a hobby, I will never keep the weight off.  I will just ride that rollercoaster of weightloss.  My life wont change. I wont reach my goals. I wont be able to do the things I want.

With this lifestyle I have so many possiblities and opportunities.  Good healthy, stength to climb mountains, endurance to run or bike or have great domestic cardio, higher self confidence, and happiness.  Isnt that why we are here.  We want a larger life.  Value and participate and not just let it pass us by while we sit on the couch and watch.

I want to be fit and healthy so much that I am willing to make it a priority in my life.  What about you?   How bad do you want this?

I am motivated and ready to really kick some major fat butt.  I visited with some of my friends here.  Oh the inspiration that I have found..  I can not tell you all the success that I have seen.  Sometimes its just little things like making it through an intense workout or overcoming the office temptation.  It may be just getting the right mind set.  You guys are so inspiring.

You all know I have been fight so much temptation lately.  It’s been hard to stay motivated and on track.  I had a friend call me today.  He is a straight-forward-no-bs-screw-the-sugar-coati
ng kind of guy with a really great body to back up his point of view.  He really kicked my ass good.  He refused to let me make up excuses and to backtrack. I either want to do this or I don’t.  There is no middle ground.  Yes what he said was all true.  Yes, I was making up excuses.  You know its really hard to wiggle your way out of something when you on the phone or in person.  He held me accountable.  Damn he knows me so well.  Its friends that are hard on you that really make you go above and beyond.  Reach for those stars.  Now I owe him one.  Thanks Terry.

As you all know my friends here are a major part of my success.  Its times like these that I know its true.  Thanks to each and every one of you.  I hope I can encourage, support, and inspire you as much as you do me.
