Its Saturday and I am back at work trying to wrap up some loose ends.  Will be hitting the gym for some cardio and back training at some point this morning. 

The workout tracker is a wonderful tool.  Yesterday I started setting up my workouts.  Hope to have it completed and ready to use by Monday since it will be a tool needed for the challenge.  Times a little limited today.  Happy training to all.

Good Morning all.  Yesterday was fabulous.  My boss, the Ceo of my company, and I attended an event to accept an award for my wellness programs at work from the American Heart Association.  Although I did not give an acceptance speech, it was all about me. LOL  Both of them stated that it was sole my doing and that the company was lucky to have me on board and then they offered my services to any company that would like assistance.  They discussed how my programs made a difference for our employees.  It was a proud day for me. I upload a picture for your amusement. LOL  

I didnt get much time on bb.com yesterday so I did not get to catch up on how everyone was doing.  I will make an attempt today.  My friends need their weekly dose of motivation and I need the inspirition that I get from them.  

I also seen that bb.com was going to do a 2008 transformation change.  I signed up.  Hope I am chosen.  I know this is my year and that would just help keep the momentum going.  I need to figure out how to use the workout tracker and am working on getting a better video.  Have to prove I have some computer skills.  LOL  If you have any ideas that will help me improve mybodyspace let me know.  I preping my application.  Want it to shout pick me.

Today is chest and shoulder day for me.  Cant wait to get in there and pump some iron.  Going to be exciting.  Hope everyone has a great day. Train hard, eat clean and stay motivated.

It was wonderful to be back in the gym.  Loved it.  Felt great getting in there and really pushing it.  I did push it.  Got 185lbs on my bench.  Think I could have done 200lb.  Felt great.  Got it on video too.  I posted it but its not the best.  Taken with my cellphone.  We keep working to get it cleaned up. 

And for any of you asking no the spotter did not touch the bar.  Oh Yeah.  Check it out. PS Ninja I am catching up!

Its Monday!

Its finally here.  Monday!! I cant wait to get back in the gym today.  I want to feel that bar in my hands, the weight of the iron, the and the muscles working.  I know I am going to be sore all week.  I am so looking forward to it. 

Today I will work chest, shoulders, bis and tris.  Tonight I will have karate class.

I worked so hard to get into this healthy lifestyle of eating clean and exercise that I have a huge fear of taking a step back.  Getting sick and having the doctor tell me I cant workout is not an easy pill to swallow. I want to keep progressing, keep moving forward.  I am so afraid I will fall back into the old habits.

 I know what your thinking. The body just needs some rest.  Well I have done that but my brain is rebelling. Its saying this is not how we succeed.  We need to be that gym. Hitting those weights.  We need to sweat.  Someone is going to get attached to your treadmill and you wont even be there to give them dirty looks until they get off.  I know its a mental thing.  That mindset is what has kept me going.  I cant turn my back on it now.

It does help coming here and see the success of my friends.  Its comforting to know you guys care.  I know what I have to do. I know that this is just and internal fight between the good and the bad. I will overcome this.  There will be hell to pay in the gym next week.  I cant wait.

I am having gym withdraw.  Its only been a day. The docs say no working out til monday.  I dont think he understands what he asking of me.  I am sure a few curls or a little cardio would be ok.  Calf raise cant hurt.  Whats wrong with the doc? He should know that exercising is good for your health.  This is one perscription that I am having difficulty filling.

Ok! I knew I had better get it in gear when Ninja was threatening getting his shoes to come kick my butt.  That means a lot since Ninja is not a traveler.  Thanks.  So I went to the doctors.  Doctor fixed me up.  Cant work out but at least I am not so bitchy. 

I also want to thank all of you that stopped by with get well wishes and garlic cloves.  You guys are the best. It really meant a lot to know someone cares.  Now thats enought mush.  Get out there and train hard.  I cant do it but I can certainly continue to encouraging.  By Monday I will be pumping iron and running right a long with you.  For now, I have to work through the mound of papers that stack up on my desk while I was out.
