The tramp stamp discussion
Over Thanksgiving I went to spend some time with family and friends. We were hanging out in the kitchen when Darren spots his cousin tramp stamp and says something to her. Now her parents were in the room and apparently they didn’t know she had it. So she looks up at Darren and just says thanks a lot. She is then told to turn around so that the rest of the people in the room can see it. She is quite embarrasses at this point.
Her parents proceed to ask a question like, “Why would you get a tattoo there, no ones going to see it?” Her husband is setting next to her blushing a nice cherry red color which brightens when Darren points to him and say, “Well he will!” To help relieve the embarrassment I state that I am getting one next year and a friend of mine is drawing it for me. I was trying to get the discussion to change focus slightly. You know go toward more of what the design is going to be or about my friends artwork.
Now her father looks at Darren and asks, “Do you know this friend?” Darrens reply was “No. It’s a friend of hers.” The father then asks, “So your going to let some guy draw on her butt? You don’t have a problem with it.” Darren calmly states, “There is a big difference between drawing on the ass and taping the ass.” Everyone in the room busted out laughing. The original couple turned the brighest shade of red that I had ever seen. I laughed all the way home.

See now you all assumed the same thing. 1. My friend is a guy. Ok he is but his art work is fabulous.
2. That my friend will actually ink it. He is the creative mind and the talent behind the design. One that I appreciate very much but a tattoo artist will actually ink it on my lower back.
Nic- I have given my friend creative freedom. I want it to represent me and the motto daretosoar. We were tossing around an idea of a phoenix soaring. Alens work is beautiful so I know that what ever he comes up with, I will like it.

That’s a funny story Steph!! I don’t usually like tats…especially on women but I have to admit that I find the tramp stamp extremly sexy!! I also like the shoulder blade and ankle. A tat that runs the entire length of ones arm though just isn’t my cup of tea! I’m sure yours will be awesome though!

LOL, Steph, I am glad there are no prejudice about it, it is great you can laugh at it. I am sorry I can not actually draw this tattoo on your body, but I will finish the design soon. I think skin, especially female, is perfect medium for art

malibuilder I thought you would enjoy this story. If you were experienced at inking, I would surely let you. Nothing like the artist completing the project. LOL
